Profitable car recycling. Car recycling program: procedure, conditions, terms. Requirements for vehicles under the recycling program

In 2017, the authorities also decided to support the rescue of cars Russian manufacturer. Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, together with Russia's largest automakers, extended the auto industry recycling program. Despite the fact that there are more than 400 automobile manufacturing plants in the country, the overall situation on the market for new cars does not look so encouraging. As the Prime Minister said, throughout recent years There is a clear decline in sales in this industry.

Main programs 2017

Similar to 2015, a Russian car enthusiast will be able to choose two assistance programs:

  • Trade-in exchange program;
  • recycling of old cars under a special program.

The government, with the help of the recycling program, wants to continue stimulating sales of new brands of cars from domestic manufacturers. In addition, the authorities want to reduce the decline that has recently been increasingly visible in the car market. If the client buys new car, then he has the opportunity to pass his old car scrapped, and then get a discount. Everything will depend on the type of vehicle being disposed of: SUV, passenger car, special equipment.

The discount then can be equal to from 50 to 350 thousand rubles. Discounts are given on cars that were assembled at car factories in our country. Dealers, in addition to increasing sales volume under the recycling program, will be able to receive compensation in full size funds. The most important thing is that Russian buyers will be able to acquire new cars on fairly favorable terms.

What are the conditions of the recycling program?

To buy a new brand Russian car under the terms of disposal, the buyer must:

  • show documents for your car;
  • show documents confirming ownership of the vehicle for the last six months;
  • deregister the car with the Russian State Traffic Safety Inspectorate;
  • provide a fully equipped vehicle for recycling, which includes a battery, frame, seats, dashboard, transmission and so on;
  • prepare copies of the vehicle’s passport with a note on deregistration, as well as the certificate of scrapping the car.

If the buyer participates in Trade-In program, then he will have to show the original vehicle and the registration certificate of this vehicle. As Dmitry Medvedev said, in 2017 it will be possible to sell more than 200 thousand cars throughout Russia. Buyers will be able to purchase cars from Skoda, Ford, Citroen, Opel and much more on favorable terms.

Required documents

There aren't that many documents. These should include:

  1. The original or a notarized copy of the Certificate of delivery of the scrapped vehicle to the recycler, or the certificate of delivery to the dealer, for further transfer to the recycler.
  2. A copy of the vehicle's passport with a mark from the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate about deregistration due to disposal, or a certificate from the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate about deregistration due to disposal.

What are the conditions of Trade-In

Many car owners have heard about the opportunity to exchange an old car and receive compensation for it. These rules are still in effect today. Let's consider whether the recycling program will be extended in 2018, what the exchange procedure is and the main conditions.

Features of the recycling project

The effectiveness of the project has been constantly in doubt since its implementation. Therefore, whether the recycling program will operate in 2018 and whether its conditions will change is of concern to every owner of an “older” car.

Why do we need an old car recycling program?

In general, the Government’s idea was aimed at developing and “raising” the domestic car market. It's no secret that cars require more and more investments and repairs as they age due to depreciation. Such units may also contribute to an increase in road accidents.

Renewing the vehicle fleet will undoubtedly affect the environmental situation, because when developing modern cars, world quality standards regarding emissions into the atmosphere are already taken into account.

First steps and difficulties of the procedure

In 2010, this project was implemented for the first time. It meant exchanging an old car for compensation of 50 thousand rubles, which could be spent on buying a new one. The project did not bring much effect. This is due to a sharp jump in prices for automotive products, which is why this value did not cover even half the price. Therefore, at the end of 2011 the project was suspended, after which it appeared again several times.

In 2014, the program was renewed with the condition of validity until 2018. Whether the recycling program will be resumed in 2018 has already been resolved.

The government has allocated about 10 billion rubles for issuance to car owners upon exchange in 2018.

Recycling limitation framework in 2018

Having found out whether the recycling program will operate in 2018, it remains to clarify whether the exchange conditions will change and what the compensation amounts will be.

Amounts of compensation for exchange

Today, despite inflationary growth, the values provided by the state have remained virtually unchanged since the introduction of the program:

  • Passenger car: 50 thousand rubles;
  • Trucks: 90 thousand rubles;
  • Trucks over 2.9 tons, buses: 350 thousand rubles.

These amounts will not cover the cost of a new car, but can become a necessary part if you have savings or participate in a loan program.

Required program conditions

The recycling program for 2018 operates in such a way that it is not possible to receive money in cash.

A special voucher or certificate is issued for their value, which serves as a discount on purchase. In this case, the car is simply destroyed. The second way is to exchange the car directly with the dealer, providing on behalf of the latter a discount in the amount of the value of disposal.

The list of brands is strictly regulated and prescribed in this program. At the same time, recycling can be carried out not only by a private car owner, but also by a legal entity that has old cars and trucks on its balance sheet.

Conditions for participation in the program

The 2018 car recycling program has certain rules, subject to which you can become a participant.

Foreign citizens or those with a residence permit do not have the right to exchange their vehicles. The project is intended only for citizens of the Russian Federation.

The following requirements must also be met:

  • The car is more than 6 years old;
  • The program participant has owned the vehicle for more than a year;
  • The intended use of compensation is the purchase of a new car;
  • To carry out disposal, you will need the assistance of a dealer, whose services you must contact.

Procedure for disposal or exchange

The old car recycling program in 2018 follows a schedule similar to the previous year. It is clear that the procedure involves certain nuances and may differ slightly.

Carrying out recycling yourself

First, the vehicle (VV) must be deregistered.

Secondly, you need to deliver the car to a dealer or for recycling. Since it has been deregistered, this can only be done using a tow truck. You will have to pay the carrier out of your own pocket.

Thirdly, you will need to prepare the necessary documentation for signing upon transfer of the car.

After this, the vehicle is exchanged or transferred. The final stage of the procedure is the execution of a contract for the purchase of a car, taking into account the discount provided under the 2018 recycling program, or the issuance of a voucher for the amount at which the car is valued.

Will the car recycling program be extended in 2018 and what actions will it include?

Advantages of working with a dealer

Hiring a dealer will undoubtedly be a better decision. All the nuances will fall on his shoulders. He will also prepare all the documentation, provide a discount certificate, prepare documents for purchase or exchange, and pay for evacuation costs when delivering the car to the place.

You will have to pay for the dealer's services. According to reviews, on average you will need about 10 thousand rubles.

In most cases, it is still not possible to do without their help, and therefore you have to bear these extra costs.

Necessary documents for the procedure

To prepare to participate in the car recycling program in 2018, you need to collect a certain package of documents. It includes:

  • Citizen's passport, photocopy;
  • Document on deregistration;
  • Consent from the traffic police for vehicle disposal;
  • Receipt (check) for payment of the state duty and for the disposal procedure;
  • An agreement concluded with the dealer on the transfer of rights to him within the framework of the recycling program;
  • A contract for the purchase of a car with a discount specified in it, covered by the state;
  • Vehicle scrappage certificate issued by the dealer.

Some of the documents will be required immediately, while others will be completed during the process.

You need to start your journey from the dealer where you picked up your new car.

He will suggest further steps and will assume the bulk of the responsibilities within the framework of the concluded agreement.

How does the recycling program for exchanging an old car for a new one work?

Benefits for car owners

As you can see, the car recycling program in 2018 has undergone virtually no changes. This procedure is clouded by the fact that the amount of compensation and discounts has not increased, despite inflation.

Buying a new car for less money

But owners of old vehicles, which will require a considerable amount of money to repair and maintain in good condition, have a chance to get a completely new car.

The benefits include the provision of a discount at the expense of the state, using which you can purchase a new vehicle at a lower cost.

Favorable car loan conditions

The possibility of lending under the program from car dealers is also provided. If you decide to take advantage of the terms of the project, you should visit any of them and clarify the details. Here you can immediately choose the model you like, find out about the amount of the discount for your old vehicle and sign an agreement to participate in the car recycling program for 2018.

Conclusion

Thus, the recycling program has been extended for 2018. The timing of its implementation is currently limited to this year, but in fact it will be valid until the amount of compensation allocated by the state is exhausted. The government, despite certain doubts, recognizes the effectiveness of this project, and therefore we can count on the allocation of funds in the future.

If you recycle your old car, you can not only get rid of the old car, but also purchase a new one through the program.

Let's consider how to recycle a car, how to do it correctly, what is the algorithm of action. Let's get acquainted with all the necessary information.

Disposal of a vehicle means its safe destruction. Machines are made of metal, plastic, glass, and technical fluids. If you leave it and forget about it, over time, harmful substances will begin to enter the soil and atmosphere.

Recycling involves the safe recycling of vehicles. The car is disassembled by employees of a special organization, the materials are sorted and sent for further processing.

To recycle a car you must:

  1. Deregister the vehicle with the traffic police. Most scrap vehicle collection points require a certificate of deregistration of the vehicle.
  2. Drop the car off at a collection point. It is necessary to conclude a disposal agreement with the organization.

There are quite a lot of companies that deal with recycling. The service is provided free of charge. But sometimes a fee is charged for accepting a vehicle with a low mass (less than 800 kg).

To deregister a car you need the following documents:

  • Russian passport;
  • vehicle registration certificate, vehicle passport, license plates;
  • application in the prescribed form;
  • The vehicle is not provided for inspection.

Disposal conditions:

  • aging and wear and tear of the vehicle;
  • The vehicle was sold at general power of attorney, But new owner does not appear at the traffic police office to re-register the car in his name (in order not to continue to pay transport tax, the seller of his car has to take extreme measures - the disposal procedure);
  • car theft;
  • eliminating accidents on the roads due to the difficulty of moving an old car along them.

Remember: if your car has been deregistered by the traffic police, you no longer have the right to drive it. Transport the car only on a tow truck.

Conditions for removing a car from state registration:

  • recycling according to the state program;
  • unlawful actions in relation to a car, theft;
  • if the car buyer has not registered the car and does not intend to do so;
  • leaving the country for a long time (then the owner registers the car in the country of residence).

  • contact the traffic police in person, join the electronic queue;
  • there is no need to deliver the old car to the traffic police for inspection;
  • submit the completed application and documents;
  • The car owner is given the necessary certificate.

The conditions and cost of the service are specified in each company separately. Representatives will ask you to provide them with a certificate from the traffic police.

Sample application

Let's look at a sample of filling out an application for recycling a car at the traffic police:

  • indicate the exact name of the traffic police department where you are going to submit documents;
  • underline the appropriate wording of the reason for deregistration of the vehicle (in connection with disposal);
  • fill in the form from the vehicle passport with information about the make, model of the car, VIN number, state signs, year of manufacture;
  • enter the passport details of the car owner, fill out information about the owner;
  • rewrite the information about the vehicle in the required lines.

A power of attorney is a necessary document for deregistering a car if the car owner cannot visit the traffic police department himself. The document must be drawn up correctly.

In power of attorney from legal entity indicate:

A car owner who wants to scrap a vehicle can only submit a passport and a recycling application. But if for some reason he cannot carry out the procedure himself, he issues a power of attorney to his representative. Then the document is certified by a notary.

In power of attorney from individual are indicated:

  • place, date of compilation;
  • Full name, passport details, address of the principal and authorized representative;
  • traffic police registration office;
  • vehicle data;
  • car passport numbers and registration certificate;
  • validity period of the power of attorney;
  • signatures of the parties.

Let's look at how to scrap a car under a special program and what documents are needed.

This special program was launched in 2010, but is still in effect. The goal of the state program is to increase the growth of sales of domestic cars by providing subsidies for the purchase of new vehicles to replace old ones.

The main condition for participation in the program: you can only spend the funds you receive from handing over your vehicle for recycling to purchase a new car.

Other conditions in 2020:

  • you must own the car for at least six months;
  • Individuals and legal entities can participate in the program;
  • new cars are not scrapped;
  • the participant must have a Russian passport;
  • a car cannot be recycled without a specially hired dealer (services can cost about 10,000 rubles).

According to the program, you can exchange a car, big car, jeep, bus. The maximum discount amount is 50-350 thousand rubles.

Minimum amount for passenger cars, maximum for freight. As part of this program, it has already been possible to sell about 130,000 cars.

Only a limited number of models can be purchased under the program: AvtoVAZ, GAZ, UAZ, several Volkswagen models, Opel, Nissan, Ford, SsangYong, Renault.

All documents are prepared by the dealer, who also enters into an agreement with the client to purchase a new car.

He issues a discount on the purchase of a vehicle in the form of a certificate or cash. Contact participating car dealers and trade in your old car.

Algorithm of actions:

  • draw up a power of attorney for the dealership to transfer the old car to scrap;
  • enter into an agreement with the dealer, which states that you are handing over the car to the dealer for deregistration and disposal;
  • hand over the power of attorney and the car, receive an acceptance certificate for the car.

The recycling program is only suitable for those who own an old car; no one uses it. You can get quite an impressive amount for it.

The state allocated about 10 billion rubles for recycling. The program has a limited duration, so it is worth applying early.

How to dispose of a car without documents and license plates? If you are the owner of a car, you have the right to write it off as scrap only with your passport. Other documents, including license plates, are provided if available.

How to dispose of a car at the traffic police without a car? The practice of selling vehicles has its drawbacks. Quite often, the new owner to whom you sold your car does not seek to pay transport tax, and does not re-register the car in his name within ten days.

Then the invoice is due transport tax will come to you, since you will remain the actual owner.

By registering the disposal of your car with the traffic police, you can get rid of unnecessary tax obligations. Go to the traffic police, write a statement of intent to scrap the car.

Afterwards, the car driven by the careless buyer, who refused to re-register the car in his name, will be stopped at the traffic police post, hit the base and sent to the penalty area.

After deregistering a vehicle for disposal, it is impossible to register it again.

Public services

You can recycle your car using the State Services Portal (https://www.gosuslugi.ru/category). Select “Vehicle registration”, then “Deregistration”, “Deregistration due to disposal”.

The application is completed electronically. Enter the document data into it:

  • Russian Federation passports;
  • notarized power of attorney (for representatives);
  • vehicle passports;
  • certificate of registration or technical documentation of a motor vehicle or trailer;
  • a document certifying ownership of a vehicle or trailer.

The application should be printed out and taken to the traffic police along with the state registration plates of the car. You need to select a convenient traffic police department, date, time, and make an appointment.

Do not be late for the appointed time, otherwise you may miss the line. Do not forget to take the original documents, the details of which were indicated in the application.

After the employee checks the documents, the vehicle will be deregistered for subsequent disposal.

Do I need to pay a state fee for the procedure? No, this service is provided free of charge.

But you cannot drive a deregistered car. Therefore, you will have to spend money on a tow truck to the car collection site.

According to Law No. 89, licensed collection centers provide recycling services free of charge if a recycling fee has been paid for the vehicle.

But you need to remember that the recycling fee is not paid for vehicles whose title was issued before 2012.

If the fee has not been paid, the owner will have to pay for the service at the company's rates.

Used car

Is it possible to purchase a used car through a recycling program? New cars are expensive, and discounts for purchasing them through the recycling program are small. But used cars are not included in the program.

The government finances the purchase of only new vehicles, since it supports the main goal of the program: stimulating the sale of domestic manufacturers, who increase the number of cars sold, increasing tax contributions to the budget.

And then the recycling program is financed from it. For this reason, you cannot purchase a used vehicle under the recycling program..

If you are going to purchase a car, do not forget to check it for recycling.

The procedure for deregistration due to disposal is a fairly popular phenomenon among those who want to avoid transport tax on a car that is not in use.

You can check your car for recycling:

  • through the traffic police website;
  • Autocode;
  • various Internet portals.

To check you may need:

  • VIN code;
  • body/chassis number;
  • registration numbers.

Services may fail because sometimes data is not entered into the database. Therefore, checking online is not always a reliable way to find out whether a car has been scrapped, since sometimes vehicles are returned from scrappage. Then contact the traffic police immediately.

For several years, Russia has been recycling cars with government support. This program is also valid in Belarus. Under its terms, any car owner can return their car for recycling and receive a discount on the purchase of a new car. The car recycling program received about ten billion rubles from the federal budget in 2020, but the conditions of the program for participants have changed somewhat.

How did the recycling program come about?

Auto recycling appeared in Russia back in 2010. Thus, the authorities encouraged citizens to purchase more modern cars. For scrapping a vehicle older than 10 years, you could get 50 thousand rubles to buy a new one, this is a good financial boost in the face of rising car prices. Everyone was in the black: car owners received more modern cars, the state stimulated the motor transport market and rid cities of morally and technically obsolete Soviet cars.

Benefits of recycling and changing conditions

The car recycling project was created to support domestic auto industry, which, of course, is a fairly logical decision by the authorities in conditions of general economic instability. This move allows Russian automakers to stay afloat and bring money into the budget.

Another plus is the reduction in the percentage of old cars in poor condition on the roads. This not only reduces the risk of accidents, but also has a positive effect on the environment.

The idea of how to recycle a car was also appreciated by the owners of old Ladas and Cossacks: on the used car market, their cars do not represent any value, and they can be scrapped for a fairly decent amount.

The main innovation of this year is that the program began to accept not only passenger cars and SUVs, but also buses, as well freight transport. In addition, you can now both purchase and rent out Russian car, and a foreign car, if it was assembled in Russia. Thus, the list of potential participants in the car recycling program in 2020 has expanded significantly.

Conditions of the program, procedure and timing

A citizen can become a participant in the recycling program Russian Federation, or an organization registered in the Russian Federation. In exchange for the car, the participant receives a coupon for the corresponding amount, which cannot be cashed out. With this coupon, he can apply to any car dealership that sells cars that meet the conditions of the car recycling program in Russia in 2020.

Year of manufacture, country of origin and age of the car

You can recycle a machine that has been in use for more than 6 years, i.e. released no later than 2012. Only Russian-made cars or foreign cars assembled in Russia are accepted. Only the owner who purchased it at least six months ago can dispose of the car.

Car type and discount amount

Can be scrapped passenger car, jeep, light, medium or heavy-duty car, truck, bus. How much it costs to scrap a car depends on its category, age, condition, technical characteristics. The size of the discount on the purchase of a new car will range from 50-350 thousand rubles. The biggest discount will come from recycling trucks.

The received coupon can be presented when purchasing all cars produced by AvtoVAZ, UAZ, GAZ and foreign cars produced under license in Russia, such as Volkswagen, Skoda, Opel, Nissan, Ford, SsangYong, Renault. The amount of the discount will depend not only on what brand of car was scrapped, but also on the model of the vehicle being purchased. Least discount on Renault Logan and Sander - only 25 thousand rubles. For VAZ, Peugeot, Citroen cars, as well as most model range Ford company, the discount can be up to 50 thousand rubles.

The program provides the greatest benefit to buyers of medium-duty trucks produced by GAZ - up to 350 thousand rubles.

Technical condition of the scrapped vehicle

The rental vehicle must be able to arrive at the disposal site under its own power. If the car doesn't drive or even start, it won't be accepted. Also important full set auto. In principle, there is no serious damage to the body; all lubricants and other fluids must be in sufficient volume.

What papers are needed to scrap a car?

You will need to provide the following documents:

  • Russian passport;
  • documents for the car;
  • papers confirming the right to own the car for the last six months.

If the documents are in order, the owner of the vehicle signs an agreement with the car dealer to purchase the car at a discount and gives his old car for disposal, drawing up a power of attorney for this purpose. The documents required for scrapping should be collected in advance.

The dealer independently carries out all stages of recycling, and upon completion gives the client a certificate of recycling and confirmation of deregistration of the vehicle. Based on these two papers and an agreement signed with the dealer, a car enthusiast can buy a new car using a discount under the program.

What do you do with an old car?

When a car handed over for recycling is dismantled, the first thing is to remove its components, clean it of technical fluids, dismantle glass, rubber parts and other non-metal elements. Tires and other non-metallic items are disposed of separately. The iron frame of the machine is sent under the press and then melted down. The remaining parts are sent for modernization or destroyed.

Is it possible to refuse to buy a new car?

According to the rules of the program, the money that the owner of a scrapped car receives can only be spent on the purchase of a new car, the purchase agreement for which is drawn up even before the moment of disposal. At the same time, you can buy a car at a discount only once; the discount does not apply to subsequent scrapped cars; they are accepted as scrap metal.

Trade-In program

You can get a discount on a new car without scrapping it. To do this, just come to any showroom in Moscow to make a purchase, which operates under the trade-in program, which implies a discount on a new car when you sell your old one to a car dealer.

In order for a car dealership to accept a car as payment, it must meet the following criteria:

  • be in good working order, only minor defects are acceptable;
  • Only cars that have not been in an accident, without traces of an accident, are accepted. Damage, even if repairs have been made, will significantly reduce compensation;
  • the older the car, the less benefit;
  • The car owner must have owned the car being sold for at least six months.

It is possible to return both a domestic car and a foreign car, without any restrictions. All papers and certificates must be available, and the car must be free of any encumbrances in the form of collateral or a lease agreement. In order for the dealer to appreciate the car at its true worth, you should polish it before selling it and get rid of minor defects.

Recycling fee: who pays?

What is this, a recycling fee? According to paragraph 1 of Art. 24-1 of Law No. 89-FZ “On Production and Consumption Waste”, each purchaser of a car must pay this fee, which will subsequently be spent on recycling the car in accordance with environmental safety rules.

A recycling fee is paid when importing a car from abroad. If the car was made in Russia, then payment remains on the conscience of the manufacturer, the fee for vehicles, produced in other countries, is paid by the one who imports the car into the territory of the Russian Federation. The recycling fee for cars is charged only once.

You do not need to pay a recycling fee if:

  • the car is over 30 years old, used for non-commercial purposes, the original frame, body and engine are intact;
  • a car owned by a diplomatic mission, consulate, international company, or an employee of any of these institutions, members of his family.

How to deregister a car for recycling, is it necessary to have the car itself, license plates and documents for the procedure?

You can deregister a car for recycling at the traffic police department. The following papers will be required:

  1. written statement;
  2. Russian passport;
  3. PTS (if any);
  4. Certificate confirming registration (if any);
  5. registration plates (if any);
  6. a general power of attorney and its notarized copy, if the car is scrapped by an authorized person.

After everything Required documents provided, the car owner receives a receipt for payment of the state duty, pays it and waits for an extract from deregistration.

From this list it is clear that the presence of license plates and documents for the car is not necessary in order to deregister the car under the recycling program. This is as realistic as recycling a car without a car. It is enough to submit to the MREO along with the application an explanatory note stating that the car has already been disposed of.

If the car is unsuitable for further use, to deregister it you need to:

  1. Come to the nearest interdistrict registration and examination department of the traffic police with all the necessary documents.
  2. Fill out an application for recycling, in which you indicate the need to deregister the car due to its write-off.
  3. Write an explanatory note based on the examples hanging on the MREO information board.
  4. Hand in the papers.
  5. Receive a certificate of deregistration.

If, when disposing of the car, some elements are planned to be removed for subsequent sale, it is necessary to write a corresponding application to the MREO to issue a certificate for them, present the elements for inspection and submit the application with explanations to the acceptance window. MREO employees will issue a certificate for the seized unit along with an extract from deregistration.

Is it possible to restore a car from scrap and how to register it?

Many people wonder whether it is possible to register a scrapped car? There is a way to restore a scrapped car, which according to documents was written off, and register the car again with the traffic police. The exception is those cars for which their owners received monetary compensation according to the state recycling program.

If the car was disposed of without purchasing a new one, then the procedure is reversible:

  • you need to find the former owner of the car, which is indicated in the registration certificate, and persuade him to both restore the car in the traffic police database and re-register it to the new owner;
  • the previous car owner must write an application to the traffic police department where the car was registered in order to register it again. The application must indicate the vehicle number, make, year of manufacture, as well as body and engine numbers, and attach all documents for the vehicle;
  • then the traffic police officer inspects the scrapped car. It must be delivered to the department premises by tow truck. After a successful inspection, the new owner is issued new documents;
  • You should also legally formalize a car purchase and sale agreement with the former owner in order to own it legally.

How to check if a car is scrapped?

Information about which vehicles were scrapped is not available in open sources. In order to check the car, you should contact the traffic police, where the car is registration number check with the database.

Is it profitable to sell a car for scrap?

In some cases, scrapping a car is more profitable than participating in a recycling program. First of all, this option is more convenient for those whose cars do not meet the conditions of the state program, as well as for car owners who do not plan to buy a new car. After all, if you plan to buy a used or new, but foreign car, you can get real money at the metal collection point. This money can be spent on a new car or on something else. However, it is worth keeping in mind that you cannot get a lot of money for a car: a standard passenger car will bring about 10 thousand rubles as scrap metal.

  1. To avoid problems later, before handing over the car for recycling to a metal collection point, it must be deregistered at the traffic police department.
  2. You can remove the seats, steering wheel, dashboard and other parts without numbers from the car and sell them for disassembly.
  3. It is important to choose a reliable collection point so that the car’s license plates are not used when repairing other cars. Otherwise, you former owner may have problems. You should not trust small offices and private buyers.
  4. Instead of scrapping your car, you can sell it to someone who is interested in recycling old cars.

An old car, even if it is out of order or has simply exhausted its service life, can still be of benefit to its owner. Such a car can be written off for scrapping and receive a discount on the purchase of a new car, or, if for some reason this is impossible, you can sell the car for scrap and get at least part of the money back. In addition, the cars are running and have maintained an acceptable appearance and have not been involved in an accident, can be accepted as payment when purchasing a new car from a dealer under the trade-in program.

Car recycling program: procedure, conditions, terms Video

In December 2017, Russian automobile concern AvtoVAZ has resumed its car recycling and trade-in programs (discounts for exchanging cars), which were suspended in October.

According to the press service car company, special offers for these programs are financed from funds allocated from the federal budget.

Many automakers have already exhausted their limits for the year, and AvtoVAZ, making small discounts, extended the program for a whole year. Previously, the automaker decided to abandon discounts on recycling due to low demand.

Discounts on car recycling in 2017: What discounts will car buyers receive in the new year

In 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to continue programs for fleet renewal, preferential car loans, preferential leasing, and so on.
