  2. Add eggs and beat everything well until fluffy.
  3. Gradually pour the sifted flour into the container and knead the dough.
  4. Warm up the electric waffle iron. Place the dough on the pan and bake for 1.5-2 minutes.

Classic Viennese waffles

The main features of Viennese waffles are their golden crispy crust, enticing aroma and airy center. To prepare dessert, you definitely need to take baking powder and good butter with a high percentage of fat content. The finished dish can be supplemented with a scoop of ice cream, pieces of chocolate, jam or condensed milk.

  1. Separate the eggs into whites and yolks as carefully as possible. We put the whites in a cold place. Mix the yolks with sugar and stir until a homogeneous white consistency.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat. Pour milk and salt into the mixture, stir until smooth.
  3. Add sifted flour with baking powder. Stir until no lumps remain.
  4. Remove the whites from the refrigerator and beat them until thick foam.
  5. Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth (do not use a mixer when mixing, otherwise the dough will “sag” and will not be fluffy).
  6. Turn on the electric waffle iron and grease the tiles with oil (only grease once at the beginning). Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 2-3 minutes.

Thin crispy waffles

Thin wafer layers are often used for cakes or rolled and filled with fillings. The method of cooking in an electric waffle iron is quite simple and does not take much time.

  1. Melt the butter over the fire. Cool it down.
  2. Combine eggs with sugar and beat with a mixer. While whipping, gradually add milk and butter. Add flour to the resulting mass. Mix everything until smooth.
  3. Turn on the electric waffle iron. Using a ladle, carefully pour the dough into the middle of the device. Bake for 1.5-2 minutes until golden brown.
  4. If desired, you can put the filling on the finished dessert and roll it into a tube while it is still warm.

Soft waffles-hearts

This is America's favorite dish. Heart waffles are more like pancakes. They are lush and look romantic.

  • sugar – 100 g;

  • sugar - half a glass;

  1. Heat the butter until soft, combine with eggs and sugar.
  2. Add cottage cheese (0-4% fat) to the cream mixture.
  3. Add sifted flour to the mixture and knead the dough.
  4. Grease the waffle iron with oil and let it heat up.
  5. Pour the dough into the mold of the device and bake for 1-2 minutes.

Original waffles with cheese cream

Exquisite taste and appearance dessert will pleasantly surprise gourmets.

  • water – 1 glass;
  • lemon zest - from 1 pc.;
  • lemon juice– with 1 piece;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • baking powder – 2 tsp;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • yogurt – 200 ml;
  • milk – 200ml;
  • corn flour – 150 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • butter – 200 g;
  • soda - half a tsp;
  1. Corn flour must be boiled. Boil water and gradually add flour into it. Remove from heat and let steep for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter and pour into the dough with the eggs, mix thoroughly until smooth.
  3. Add lemon juice and zest.
  4. In a separate container, mix sugar, baking powder, salt.
  5. Combine the ingredients and knead the dough.
  6. Combine milk with yogurt (non-fat) and add to the dough.
  7. Heat up the waffle iron. Pour the dough onto it and bake until golden brown.
  8. Mix rhubarb and raspberries with sugar.
  9. Put the mixture on fire. Once it boils, leave to simmer for 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat to simmer and the sauté is ready.
  10. Combine yogurt, lemon and honey. Mix thoroughly - the classic cream is ready.
  11. After the dish is ready, the waffles are eaten together with sauté and cream.

Make waffle rolls at home, just like in childhood. It will turn out very tasty even in an old Soviet waffle iron!

A very simple recipe for a waffle iron.

  • 4 eggs
  • vanilla sugar
  • 1-1.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • pack of margarine
  • salt, soda

Beat eggs with sugar mixed with vanilla sugar. With a mixer the process will go faster. (Don't forget to add a pinch of salt).

Melt the margarine.

After cooling slightly, pour it into the mixture of eggs and sugar. We continue to beat.

This is the amount of soda we need.

Gradually add flour to the mixture, stirring thoroughly so that there are no lumps.

We extinguish the soda with vinegar and pour it into the dough. Stir, after a minute or two the dough will begin to bubble slightly.

The dough turns out watery and flowing.

We heat up the waffle iron, carefully lubricate the baking surfaces with vegetable oil (if the waffle iron has a non-stick coating, there is no need to lubricate it) before baking the first product. There is no need to lubricate it in the future.

Pour one or two spoons of dough onto the bottom surface and press quickly and firmly. There is no need to spread the dough over the surface (as in my photo)... Two touching baking surfaces of the waffle iron will do this better!

Waffles are baked for no more than 3-5 minutes (it all depends on the power of the electric waffle iron). After 3 minutes, you can lift the top cover and see how the process is going.

Remove the finished wafer with a spatula and quickly roll it into a tube or cone. You can simply sprinkle the finished tubes with powdered sugar.

You can fill it with any cream - custard, butter, protein, boiled condensed milk, preserves, jam, marmalade.

Recipe 2: simple waffle rolls in a waffle iron

  • Eggs - 5 pieces
  • Sugar - 0.5 - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1.5 cups
  • Butter or margarine - 180 gr

Wash chicken eggs with soap and break into a cup. Add sugar.

Beat eggs with sugar until smooth.

Melt margarine or butter. Cool slightly.

Mix the egg mixture with margarine (butter).

Gradually, in small portions, pour flour into the dough.

Mix. The consistency of the dough will be like sour cream.

Recipe 3: crispy waffle rolls in an electric waffle iron

The recipe is suitable for the old Soviet electric waffle iron EV-1/220 produced by the Dnepropetrovsk Elektrobytpribor plant. This is a rectangular waffle iron.

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g butter,
  • 150 g sugar,
  • 100 g wheat flour,
  • vanillin on the tip of a teaspoon.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with softened butter.

Add granulated sugar and continue stirring with a fork.

When the butter is well mixed, add the flour and vanilla into the bowl. Mix the dough until liquid sour cream, no lumps.

Plug in the waffle iron and heat it up for ten minutes.

Soak a cotton swab in refined vegetable oil and wipe the working surface of the electric waffle iron with it.

Using a tablespoon, pour the dough into the center of the heated surface and quickly cover with the second surface.

Lightly press the sash with your hand. Bake each waffle for 2-3 minutes while steaming.

Open the electric waffle iron and see if the waffle is rosy enough for your taste.

Carefully pry the edge of the waffle with a knife.

And immediately roll it into a tube. This stage is the fastest; you need to twist the tube while the wafer is still hot.

First place the hot waffle rolls on a wire rack to cool, dry and take shape. Then we transfer it to a dish, having first laid a paper napkin on it. The waffles turn out quite thin and tender.

Everything is prepared very quickly. Therefore, we immediately take out all the necessary ingredients. Melt margarine in a convenient way - on the stove, radiator, in the microwave.

Break the eggs into a bowl and mix. No need to whisk, just stir.

Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the eggs. Mix everything.

Now pour in the melted margarine and mix thoroughly again.

Pour flour into the dough, stir until smooth.

We extinguish the soda with vinegar, add it to the dough and stir thoroughly.

This is the dough we make. A little thinner than for pancakes.

Lightly grease the mold with vegetable oil. Slightly, slightly, and only once. We won't need it further.

Pour 1 tablespoon of batter into the middle of the waffle iron, close and fry for 30-40 seconds. It all depends on the heating of the mold. My waffle iron has a diameter of 25 cm. I didn’t need such long tubes, so I put 1 tbsp on the pan.

  • wheat flour - 300 g
  • serum – 200 ml
  • margarine (butter is possible) - 200 g
  • sugar - 200 g
  • egg - 2 pcs.
  • vegetable oil for lubricating the electric waffle iron.

Recipe 6: waffle rolls with kefir (step by step with photo)

  • kefir - 400 ml,
  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs.,
  • granulated sugar - 100 grams,
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. spoons,
  • flour - 1 cup,
  • salt - 2 pinches,
  • vanillin - to taste.

Break eggs into a bowl convenient for you, add sugar and vanillin to taste.

Then pour in kefir, it should be at room temperature. Mix everything well with a whisk.

Lastly, pour in the vegetable oil and add salt and sifted wheat flour.

The finished waffle dough will have a slightly thicker consistency than sour cream.

Let's start baking waffles, for this we will need an electric waffle iron. Plug it into a power outlet, heat it up, and grease the surface with vegetable oil. You only need to lubricate once.

Place a tablespoon of prepared batter on the lower platform of the waffle iron. Close the lid.

The finished waffle cake needs to be rolled into a tube or cone. There are special devices for this, which are always sold complete with the waffle iron.

But you can do this with your hands, just be very careful, since the cakes are very hot. And be sure to do everything very quickly, while the cakes are hot; cooled cakes are very brittle.

Recipe 7: dough for wafer rolls with sour cream

  • Margarine – 150 gr.
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – 1 glass.
  • Flour – 2 cups.
  • Sour cream – 1 glass.
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon.

Place all the margarine in a deep bowl and put it in the microwave. When in the house small child and time is running short, I advise you not to build water baths; you can simply melt the margarine in the “defrost” mode.

Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer or whisk. Even a blender can cope with this task, I checked it personally.

Test to see if the margarine is hot after melting in the microwave. It should be moderately warm. Add beaten eggs and sugar to the margarine.

Add soda to sour cream and mix.

Combine sour cream and margarine with eggs. Be sure to mix.

Add flour to the dough and mix with a whisk until there are no lumps.

Having already received real batter for waffles, we can breathe easy - half the work is done.

Be sure to grease the surface of the electric waffle iron with butter. It is not necessary to do this before baking each waffle, but it is necessary the first time.

Bake each waffle for two minutes. To do this, scoop the dough into a tablespoon and quickly pour it onto the bottom surface of the electric waffle iron. Cover with the top. There is no need to spread the dough over the surface; it will spread on its own when you press it down with the lid of the waffle iron.

You should avoid placing too much batter on the frying surface because the excess will leak once covered.

While still hot, the waffles need to be rolled into tubes.

Recipe 8: waffle rolls with whipped cream

  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • margarine (butter) - 200 g
  • sugar - 1 glass
  • flour - 1 cup
  • ready-made whipped cream

First mix eggs with sugar.

Beat thoroughly with a mixer on turbo mode.

Then add pre-melted margarine (or butter).

condensed milk 1 can;

Melt the margarine, cool slightly, add sugar, powdered sugar, eggs, vanillin, flour. The dough should be like sour cream. Place a tablespoon into the waffle iron and bake until desired color. Roll immediately when hot, otherwise they will break.

25. RHINE WAFERS.
Butter - 125 g
Sugar - 0.5 cup.
Flour - 1.5 cups.
Egg - 2 pcs
Cloves (ground) - 2 g
Cinnamon (ground) - 2 g
Lemon zest (grated, 1 lemon)
First, beat the butter (at room temperature), add sugar, yolks, ground cloves, cinnamon and lemon zest little by little. Pour the sifted flour into the whipped butter in portions and stir constantly. Pour separately beaten egg whites into the well-mixed dough and mix well again. Bake until done.

26. LENTEN WAFFLES

30. WAFFLES WITH CINNAMON.
200g sl. beat butter with salt,
1/4 tbsp. sugar, cinnamon, add 1 tbsp. flour, mix.

I continue to try recipes for thin waffles for my recently purchased electric waffle iron. The first sample was prepared from shortcrust pastry, crispy and melting in your mouth. Now I'm trying to bake waffles with milk. They are not so crispy, but also very tasty, and the calorie content is lower.

To prepare thin waffles with milk we will need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of sugar,
  • 240 ml milk,
  • 200 grams of flour,
  • 1 tablespoon refined sunflower oil,
  • 3 grams of vanillin (2 sachets) or any other flavoring,
  • a pinch of salt.
  • Recipe for making thin waffles with milk in an electric waffle iron.

    Let's prepare the waffle dough. Beat the eggs with a mixer with sugar and a pinch of salt.

    Add milk and mix again.

    Sift the flour, add vanillin and knead the dough.

    Now add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and mix. This is done so that the finished waffles can be removed well later. The dough for thin waffles with milk is ready. This time it is thinner than it was in the recipe.

    Lubricate both halves of the electric waffle iron with vegetable oil. Turn it on and give it time to warm up. I heat it up for about 5 minutes.

    Pour 1-2 tablespoons of batter into the center of the waffle iron. Depends on what size and thickness we want to bake waffles. I baked small tubes, so I poured 1 tablespoon at a time.

    We press the other half of the waffle iron and wait. Attention! During this period, a large amount of steam is released, you can burn your hands.

    The baking time for waffles depends on the power of the electric waffle iron. My waffles brown fairly quickly.

    In order for milk waffles to be crispy, they need to be baked until they are quite dark in color. Light waffles will remain soft.

    When the waffle is browned, quickly remove it with a spatula and roll it into a tube.

    Cooking method:

    Cut the margarine into small cubes and place in a warm place to soften (no need to heat it in the microwave or in a steam bath: margarine melted until transparent is not suitable). Pour the sugar into a container with high sides, beat in the eggs and beat thoroughly with a whisk.Mix sour cream with baking powder or soda.Combine all three mixtures together, mix with a whisk, adding a little sifted flour. TMix the mixture until the cream becomes thick.

    Baking method:

    Ingredients:

    For the test:

    • Eggs 5 pcs.
    • Sugar 250 gr.
    • Butter or margarine 72% 250 gr.

    For cream:

    • Boiled condensed milk 150 gr.
    • Butter 100 gr.

    Dough preparation method:

    Mix eggs and sugar and beat with a whisk or mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved, but do not allow foam to form.

    Add soft butter (margarine), vanillin to the resulting mixture and gradually add flour. Knead the dough to the consistency of sour cream.

    Method for preparing the cream:

    Place soft butter along with condensed milk in a tall bowl and beat until it reaches the consistency of sour cream.

    Baking method:

    Spread the dough over the heated surface of the electric waffle iron and bake for 2-3 minutes. Roll the finished cake into a tube and let cool. Using a pastry syringe, inject cream into the tubes on both sides. Enjoy your tea!

    The only difficulty with this recipe is the experience and correctness of rolling the hot cakes into tubes. If this is not a problem for you, you can start cooking.
