I thought for a long time about what tires to take. 2 years ago my father bought Yokohama Ice Guard IG30 for his Lacetti, the tires worked well. And in the fall of 2013 I decided to take on Kia Rio, Yokohama Ice Guard IG50. You know, I've never been disappointed. Of course, it’s stupid to expect Velcro to perform the same on ice as tires with studs. After 3 months of operation, I did not find any serious deficiencies that cause discomfort when driving the car. And you have to ride both in the city and on the highway (60% - city, 40% - highway). In my opinion, it’s an excellent choice in terms of price-quality ratio and for those who understand the difference between a summer road and a winter one, because they haven’t yet come up with the right tires to drive on a winter road the same way as on a summer one. Advice when purchasing, pay attention to the manufacturer and buy tires made in Japan.
