Allroad a6 c5 technical specifications. Audi Allroad (C5) - model description. Typical problems and malfunctions

A large and prestigious station wagon – this is exactly how the Audi Allroad was positioned. But the main emphasis was not even on this, but on the “zest” in the form of an adjustable ground clearance. But how did the famous one prove herself? air suspension? Let's find out, and at the same time talk about the other components and assemblies of this car. And is it worth choosing this car?

There are no complaints about the body. It is remarkably protected from corrosion. There are none for the salon either. Naturally, on a car of this class, all materials used in the interior are only top quality. Even in winter you won’t hear any squeaks from their performance. But complaints sometimes arise regarding the operation of numerous electronic systems. So when purchasing, don’t be lazy to check the operation of the air conditioner, power windows, windshield wipers, and radio. The same air conditioning clutch is quite expensive. And it would seem a trifle.

All engines installed on the Audi Allroad are quite reliable, although without the characteristic weak points it still didn't work out. In any engine, periodically check the oil level, since its consumption increases with increasing mileage. And if you don’t do this, then very soon the hydraulic compensators will start knocking. By itself, one hydraulic compensator is not that expensive, but the problem is that even in a six-cylinder engine there are a lot of them. As a result, replacement will cost a decent amount. Adding a liter of oil will be much cheaper. And don’t forget that you only need to refuel quality fuel. Also, before purchasing, make a diagnosis of the turbines that are installed on a 2.7-liter engine. Replacing them would greatly undermine family budget. The maintenance of gasoline engines itself will come down to changing the oil and spark plugs. It is better to change the oil every 10 thousand kilometers, and the spark plugs will last about 35 thousand kilometers. Plus replacing the timing belt, drive belt, rollers and a pump, which is for those owners who drive a car with a 2.7-liter engine. This replacement will occur at the 100 thousand kilometer mark. It would be great if it was done before you, since all this will cost a decent amount. But the 4.2-liter engine uses a metal chain. There is no need to change it, but in this case there is no question of saving. Too gluttonous this engine. You will have to refuel often.

The 2.5 liter diesel engine is good in its own right. But on our diesel fuel, the fuel pump does not last long. And the turbine, although quite reliable, can still fail. And these units cost a lot. So diagnosing a car with a diesel engine should be a prerequisite for purchase.

But with the gearbox, no matter what, there will be fewer problems. In the “mechanics”, after a mileage of 150 thousand kilometers, you will have to change the clutch. The automatic transmission is also quite reliable, but be aware that its repair is expensive. So buying a “killed” car with your last money is fraught with danger. The all-wheel drive system, unless you drive every day on serious off-road conditions, is quite reliable.

Well, now the most important thing - the air suspension. If it suddenly stops functioning, then immediately check the wires going to the compressor. Usually it's them. Don't rush to change the compressor itself. Also try to periodically wash the car from dirt. Body position sensors don't like it. But in any case, after a run of 180 thousand kilometers you will have to change the suspension cylinders. If we talk about the mechanical components of the suspension, then every 70 thousand kilometers you will have to change the levers in the front suspension. And after a run of 100 thousand kilometers, shock absorbers and wheel bearings may require replacement. But there are far fewer problems with the rear suspension. If something has to be changed relatively often, it will only be the silent blocks.

The steering linkages will have to be replaced. Fortunately, they can withstand more than 120 thousand kilometers.

IN brake system every 30 thousand it is necessary to change the front ones brake pads. The rear pads can withstand twice as much. Brake discs have approximately the same service life.

It turns out that the air suspension is quite reliable. But in any case, you shouldn’t have your head in the clouds with this car. It was originally intended for wealthy people, so even in a used state you can’t expect small expenses for its maintenance and repairs. You'll have to pay. But if you want to reduce your costs at least a little, then try to choose a car where the main work on replacing worn-out components was carried out by the former owner. Or feel free to bargain.

General information about the model

The first generation Audi Allroad (C5) is a premium all-wheel drive station wagon. The all-terrain vehicle is a 5-door modification of the Audi A6 Avant with permanent all-wheel drive. The Allroad C5 was assembled at the company's plant in Germany. The first generation of the model was produced from 1999 to 2005.

German automobile concern Audi has long been famous for its all-wheel drive vehicles, but until 1998 they remained just city cars with good handling. However, German engineers, spurred on by their competitors, primarily the Japanese, decided to gain fame in the class of “all-terrain” cars. Thus, the flagship of the Audi A6 Avant line was modernized, and the first SUV from Audi, the Allroad C5, saw the light of day.

The car was first shown in 1998 at the Detroit Motor Show. By the end of the 90s, interest in such hybrids of an SUV and passenger car especially increased, primarily in the USA, which explains the choice of presentation location. Having received the most flattering comments from the public, German engineers polished the prototype and in 1999 the first production samples of the Audi Allroad C5 rolled off the assembly line.

Undoubtedly, the developers of the new model did not ignore the successes of Japanese competitors in this field, so in many ways the Allroad resembles Subaru Outback. But they took only the concept as a basis - a passenger all-terrain vehicle, or simply an SUV.

Interestingly, the C5 was produced unchanged until the release of the second generation Allroad. Compared to its predecessor Avant, the Allroad is 15 mm longer, half a centimeter wider and 140 mm higher. In terms of design, the Audi Allroad C5 retained the features of a premium car, but a number of elements, such as large wheel arches, wheels and aluminum trim on the doors and radiator grille, were added appearance some sportiness and aggressiveness.

In 2005, it was replaced by a second generation model, the C6. However, along with the updated Allroad, the C5 is still quite popular today.

Technical features

Audi Allroad C5 cars were equipped with the following engines: six-cylinder gasoline engines volumes of 2.7 and 4.2 liters, and diesel 2.5 liters. Increased power was achieved thanks to five valves for each of the six cylinders and an injection system with modified manifold geometry. Despite the fact that the engine is configured primarily for high torque, acceleration and maximum speed also decent - less than 8 seconds to 100 km/h very good result for a massive station wagon.

Perhaps the main advantage of the Audi Allroad is electronic system suspension settings. The car driver can choose 4 driving modes. For each mode, ground clearance is provided in the range from 142 to 208 mm. It is important to note that if the driver chose not the most suitable mode, or simply forgot to switch it after driving off-road onto a flat surface, electronic unit control will automatically change suspension settings based on data from numerous sensors. A similar idea became widespread on sport-touring motorcycles in 2008, while Audi has been using it since 1998.

Since the Germans have encroached on the off-road element, they can do without a series low gears there was no way. The Audi Allroad C5 was equipped with a so-called range multiplier, which can be turned on using a button on the gearbox selector. The speed of movement in this mode is limited to 70 km/h, but it is very difficult to imagine a madman who would want to drive through the forest at a higher speed, and even in a premium car.

The well-known company Pirelli has produced special tires for the Allroad C5. On the side of the tire there is the inscription “Allroad”, and the tread of the wheel is slightly deeper than the all-purpose “rubber” from Pirelli.

Audi Allroad is one of the first models to give birth to new class cars - SUV.

The sliding sunroof of the luxury vehicle is equipped with solar battery, the charge of which is sufficient to operate the cooling system.

Competitive advantages

The main competitors of the Audi Allroad C5 are Subaru Outback and BMW X5. The competitors are very serious, but Audi can compete with dignity even with them.

What primarily distinguishes SUVs from SUVs is fuel consumption. Audi cannot have SUVs among its competitors, for obvious reasons, but in comparison with Subaru and BMW, the Allroad C5's efficiency indicators are an order of magnitude higher. When driving outside the city and in mixed mode, Audi's fuel consumption is 7% lower.

Maximum speed is unrivaled - gasoline engine The 2.6-liter Allroad C5 allows the car to reach speeds of up to 234 km/h, while the X5 and Subaru Outback limit does not exceed 220 km/h.

Audi's main trump card is the Allroad C5's very decent off-road qualities. An important role here was played by air suspension with the ability to adjust ground clearance. But don’t forget that one of the most important indicators for cars like the X5 and Allroad is the level of comfort.

Awards

According to the results of the EuroNCAP crash test, the Audi Allroad C5 received three stars for the safety of adult passengers.

In 2001, the Allroad C5 entered the top 10 best cars of the Year according to the American magazine Car and Driver.

Audi Allroad - all-wheel drive station wagon off-road.

In February 2000, at the Geneva Motor Show, the first model of Audi's all-terrain vehicle was presented for the first time, which was designed to compete with such models as Subaru Legacy Qutback, Volvo V70XC and others, including BMW X5 and Mercedes ML. The Allroad SUV model is made on the improved Audi A6 Avant platform.

Most interesting feature New is the active air suspension. The automation itself monitors the condition of the road surface and accordingly changes the vehicle's ground clearance (depending on the speed of movement, this change occurs in steps: at a speed of more than 120 km/h it will be 142 mm, in the range from 80 to 120 km/h the clearance will be 167 mm, at speeds below 80 km/h the ground clearance will increase to 192 mm, the maximum clearance of 208 mm will be selected for low speed driving on poor roads). Also, the four-level ALLROAD air suspension allows the driver himself, by pressing the corresponding button on the instrument panel and observing the behavior of the car on the display screen, to select different ride heights, increasing it from 142 to 208 mm. For comparison, the BMW X5 has a clearance of 180 mm, and the Mercedes ML has 200 mm, and even the latest model Range Rover exceeds this figure by only 2 mm. At the same time, with the help of electronics, the Allroad maintains a specific ground clearance regardless of the load on each wheel, i.e. depending on the number of passengers and the amount of cargo in the car, and thanks to diaphragm pneumatic elements, the car’s ride is ensured with high smoothness. To increase traffic safety with ground clearance values of 192 and 208 mm, the automatically activated body position stabilization system will prevent dangerous rolls when turning and longitudinal tilts during sudden braking. The suspensions are assembled on subframes, which are attached to the body through rubber-metal supports.

In general, the exterior design is similar to that of the five-door Audi A6 station wagon. Comparing the dimensions, we note that the Allroad is 14 mm longer, 42 mm wider and 138 mm taller than the A6 Avant quattro model with a 67 mm longer wheelbase. The body is decorated with polished metal: linings on the lower edges of the doors and panels at the bottom of the bumpers, protecting the plastic from impacts. Arches are made in VW style Golf first and second generations. Wide tires, wheel arch extensions and more massive bumpers with a three-element grille and fog lights give Allroad a more solid and impressive look. Aggressive Defense crankcase and rear axle made of corrugated stainless steel, specially put on public display, as well as aluminum door sills, leave no chance for those who doubt the off-road purpose of the car.

The interior is also similar to the design Audi car A6, the difference is color scheme salon The control panel is trimmed with plastic, the instruments are equipped with polished rims. Inside, the driver and passengers will feel just as comfortable as in the standard A6. According to the creators of the Allroad quattro, five people will feel quite comfortable even on a long journey.

Of course, the car has permanent drive all wheels with a central center differential of the Torsen type (blocking of the inter-axle differentials is simulated by braking the slipping wheels), disc brakes with ABS and an EPS dynamic stabilization system. The latter is quite appropriate on a car whose maximum speed even with diesel engine exceeds 200 km/h. Allroad received an additional reduction range of gears in the transmission, which significantly increases its traction characteristics in severe road conditions. Of course, the element of Allroad Quattro is good roads, and not a country road at all. However, if necessary, the car can tow a trailer gross weight up to 2300 kg and move confidently on dirt roads.

The Audi Allroad is available with two types of engines: a petrol 2.7-liter V6-Biturbo with a power of 250 hp, equipped with two turbochargers, and a 2.5-liter V6-TDi turbodiesel with direct injection, developing 180 hp. Transmission options include a 5-speed automatic Tiptronic and a 6-speed manual, which can optionally be supplied with a selectable reduction gear "LOW RANGE". It can be engaged at speeds of up to 30 km/h and used for driving at speeds of up to 50 km /h. Result: more freedom when driving in difficult terrain. With a 250 hp engine, the car reaches speeds of up to 236 km/h and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. Allroad will also receive a gasoline V8.

Equipped with such perfect components and Audi systems The Allroad Quattro is poised to take its rightful place among all-wheel drive vehicles in the rapidly growing European SUV market. Allroad is expected to be produced in quantities of up to 20 thousand per year, which should increase the share of all-wheel drive vehicles produced by the company to 30%.

Plastic “armor”, long-stroke air suspension, two-stage transfer case optionally available in diesel versions - the first Audi Allroad was ready for any eventuality. But five years later, the Audi Q7 appeared, and the second Allroad became less “off-road”: the maximum ground clearance decreased from 208 mm to 185 mm, the range control disappeared from the list of options... What will surprise the third?

The new Audi A6 allroad quattro is also a variation of the A6 Avant station wagon: now with the factory code C7. With the same light, strong and rigid body, consisting of 20% aluminum. With the same cozy and solid interior, reminding the driver at the same time of the BMW “five” and the Jaguar XJ. With the same spacious rear sofa. And with the same dimensionless trunk. And also allroad (now that's what it is, with a small letter) - it has air suspension and all-wheel drive with a cylindrical differential.

Externally, the allroad differs from the A6 Avant station wagon only in the wheel arch extensions, door sills and bumpers. But all this supposedly off-road paraphernalia is still decoration. Thin stainless steel plates do not go under the bottom, but are made flush with the edges of the bumpers.

Using the diagram, you can see how the Allroad's ground clearance changes depending on the selected air suspension operating mode and vehicle speed. In the rectangles next to the arrows - the time during which the suspension “inflates” and “deflates”

0 / 0

What about ground clearance? Audi engineers only say that the A6 allroad is 60 mm higher than a regular station wagon, forgetting to add - in the lift position, when the car is raised on the air suspension by 45 mm. The maximum ground clearance measured by me using a tape measure is 182 mm. And if you lower the car into the normal “transport” position of the comfort and automatic modes, you get only 137 mm.

In fact, the allroad rises above the Avant by only 17 mm. And in dynamic mode, when the car “squats” by one and a half centimeters, there is no difference at all!

It is not available in power units either: the allroad is the top version of the Avant, it only has three-liter six-cylinder engines. One petrol, 310 hp, with a mechanical supercharger. And three variations of turbodiesel: 204, 245 and 310 hp. Last - newest version with two turbochargers. I started getting to know her with her.

In response to pressing the start button there is a distinct guttural growl and diesel vibration. Sports version?

It moved off softly. Paired with a powerful diesel engine is an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission - the same as on the Audi A8. The preselective seven-speed “robot”, which is found on all other Allroad modifications, is simply not designed for the superdiesel’s gigantic torque of 650 Nm. The traction is unreal at any speed above idle!

No additional handrails, no individual decor: the allroad is identical inside to the A6 Avant station wagon

The anatomy of passion is like this. Up to 2500 rpm, the air is pumped mainly by a small turbine with an adjustable guide vane, and the large turbocharger installed before it, whose blades are fixed at the inlet, actually rests. Then the distribution valve begins to rotate, directing some of the air from the larger turbine directly into the cylinders. At 3500-4000 rpm, depending on the load, this damper completely “turns off” the small turbocharger. The result is fantastic! The avalanche of maximum torque rolls in from one and a half thousand and carries up to 4500 rpm. Switching - and off we go again. At the same time, the “automatic” is controlled with a riot of Newton meters surprisingly smoothly and efficiently. And what an accompaniment! It’s not for nothing that the superdiesel has an additional resonator next to the terminal muffler, which forms an incomparable low voice with a booming “rrrr”.

A new word in entertainment electronics - longitudinal and lateral roll indicators. The toy is as beautiful as it is useless.

Passengers have access to two full seats in business class with optional four-zone climate control

Acceleration of the Allroad with a 310-horsepower gasoline engine is only slightly less dynamic (5.9 s according to the “passport” versus 5.6 s for a diesel biturbo), but not so dramatic. There is no additional resonator.

A diesel engine with one turbocharger (245 hp), like a gasoline engine, is almost inaudible at constant speed. Average consumption fuel shown by the on-board computer is 8.6 l/100 km. For comparison: on the same route and at the same driving pace, the biturbodiesel consumed 9.8 l/100 km, and the gasoline engine consumed 16 l/100 km. The dynamics, by the way, with a “single-turbine” diesel engine are more than sufficient: acceleration to hundreds according to the “passport” takes 6.6 seconds. And it’s a sin to complain about the S tronic preselective gearbox - at least until you leave the asphalt.

Handling does not depend on the choice of engine, but on the item in the Audi drive select menu. Dynamic is a little more sharp and precise, the steering wheel is filled with a pleasant heaviness. Comfort - a little more roll and softness, the steering wheel is lighter, but without loss of information content. But in any of the modes, the allroad remains one hundred percent Audi. Unshakable on the Autobahn, slightly detached on the twists and turns of the Bundestraße. And harsh on any roads.

Oh, field, German field! Perfectly evenly, you are plowed, sown, and in some places seedlings are already visible. The narrow passages are filled with crushed stone and compacted so that you can even race along them in a Porsche 911. Here you can’t even appreciate the smoothness of the ride on a bad road. Why did I come here? Unfortunately, people from Audi did not find any off-road track in the vicinity of Neckarsulm. Or they didn’t want to find it. But you need to check the passability...

Only at the entrance to the village was an obstacle worthy of Allroad discovered - a rather steep grassy slope. The off-road lift and allroad modes, in addition to raising the suspension, also soften the throttle response. Comfortable! You can crawl up the hill at a snail's pace. And when suspended diagonally (short-travel suspension), the electronics, with the help of brakes, firmly grab the slipping wheels, effectively redistributing torque.

Can you really ask for more from such a machine? You'll only rip off the beautiful bumpers.

Easy transformation, powerful cargo loops and more than one and a half cubic meters of volume when the sofa is folded - the cargo capabilities are identical to the BMW “five”. But the Mercedes E 350 and Skoda Superb Combi are more spacious

The load-bearing capacity of the folding hook of the branded towbar has been increased by 20%. Now you can hitch a trailer weighing up to two and a half tons!

On Russian off-road We won’t be able to check this until June, when the first Allroads come to us. Alas, the diesel biturbo is not among them. The Russian office of Audi has not yet named the reasons, but it is most likely due to the excessive sensitivity of the engine to the quality of diesel fuel. The 3.0 TDI modification (245 hp) will cost from 2 million 530 thousand rubles, and the price list for the petrol A6 allroad starts at 2 million 630 thousand. There are virtually no competitors. The Volvo XC70 and Subaru Outback are significantly cheaper. The BMW “five” does not have air suspension in the list of options. And the Mercedes E 350 4Matic station wagon with air suspension is much more expensive - from 2 million 950 thousand. So the only real competition for Allroad will be the regular A6 Avant station wagon: it is 180 thousand rubles cheaper. But leveling according to equipment level (the allroad is richer equipped) will eat up all the benefits. So it turns out that with all the wealth of choice, those who want to have a large, dynamic station wagon with slightly increased cross-country ability have no alternatives to Allroad.

Audi set itself a difficult task - to create an extremely versatile model and coped with it brilliantly. The Audi Allroad premiered in 1999. Subaru and Volvo had already presented their off-road station wagons. But Audi turned out to be much better. The first generation Allroad is based on the Audi A6 C5. It was equipped with permanent all-wheel drive and air suspension with the ability to adjust ground clearance. In highway mode, ground clearance can be reduced to 14 cm, and in road mode it varies from 16 to 21 cm.

The A6 Allroad is protected by armor made of black unpainted plastic, from which the bumpers and wheel arch extensions are made. The interior provides comfortable conditions for four people. The trunk has a small capacity of about 455 liters. Its functionality is enhanced by the additional grille that separates the interior.

Most copies are richly equipped. The front panel is overloaded with buttons, but the accuracy of fit and the quality of materials are high. However, over time, the inscriptions on the buttons begin to wear off, and the leather upholstery begins to crack. But this is normal for a car of this age.

The entire interior has been carried over from the “regular” A6.

The Audi Allroad suspension, like the regular A6 C5, is multi-link with aluminum arms. Instead of conventional springs, pneumatic elements are installed. In addition to adjusting the ride height, the air suspension improves comfort and stability at high speeds.

History in a nutshell

The Audi A6 Allroad was updated in 2002. At the same time, a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine appeared. In 2003, a modernized 2.5 TDI turbodiesel began to be installed. And in 2005 there was a generational change.

Engines

Under the hood of Allroad you can only find V-shaped engines. The only diesel engine in the line has a volume of 2.5 liters. Initially, its 180-horsepower version was used, but then a 163-horsepower version appeared. According to their own technical specifications diesel unit ideally suits the character of the car, as it has a fairly high torque of 370 Nm (weak version - 310 Nm).

Even more dynamics are provided by the equivalent 2.7 liter V6 turbo petrol. It develops 250 hp. and 350 Nm of torque. The top-end was the 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 with 300 hp. and a torque of 400 Nm. Due to the large mass of the V8 version, dynamic characteristics slightly superior to the Audi Allroad 2.7 T.

Samples with a 2.5 V6 TDI should be avoided, even though the engine was subsequently modernized. TDI still continued to generate high repair costs.

The fuel appetite of the diesel version is relatively high (8-10 l/100 km), but lower than that of its gasoline counterparts. If you still want to take the risk of buying a diesel, then it is better to look for a 180-horsepower engine coded BAU or BCZ, but not AKE. With proper care, the updated unit will last at least 500,000 km before the first major repair.

The 2.5 TDI V6 has earned a bad reputation due to premature wear of camshafts (from RUR 5,000) and fuel pump high pressure (from 200,000 rubles for the original). Along with the shafts, the hydraulic valve lash compensators also “run out” impressively quickly. In 2003, the problematic units were modernized, but problems still occurred, although less frequently. The list of potential vulnerabilities also includes a chain drive. oil pump(from RUB 1,600).

To avoid troubles, you should change the oil every 7-8 thousand km, using Volkswagen synthetics with 506.01 approval, and refuel only with high-quality fuel. Fortunately, unlike the 2.7 T, the diesel has only one turbine.

The petrol 2.7T is a good alternative to a diesel engine, but not ideal. It is equipped with two turbochargers (one for each “head”) and a rather complex intake system. This is what creates most of the problems.

The engine itself is quite reliable and durable, but owners of old cars sometimes have to fight unsuccessfully with the supercharging system. To win, you need to replace all the pipes and the intercooler (from 10,300 rubles), and then the engine will breathe freely.

If one turbocharger breaks, you will almost certainly have to replace the other. Fortunately, they are not too expensive (from 40,000 rubles per piece) and can be easily repaired (about 20,000 rubles).

One of the advantages of 2.7 Biturbo, in comparison with others power unitsgreat potential to increase power. However, this only applies to unused vehicles with low mileage. And the service life of the box after tuning is noticeably reduced.

The best choice is the top-end V8. It is powerful, quite reliable and rarely requires attention, with regular and proper maintenance. Its huge advantage is its simplicity of design. And, contrary to popular belief, the 2.7 T can be significantly more expensive to maintain. After all, we are talking about a car that is no longer young. If someone is afraid of the huge fuel consumption of the V8 (on average about 15 liters per 100 km), then you can safely install a gas power system. True, for a decent HBO you will have to pay almost 60,000 rubles.

Transmission

The weakest link in the transmission is automatic transmission Tiptronic gears. With regular maintenance and gentle operating conditions, it can cover about 300-400 thousand km. The repair is not too burdensome either in terms of complexity or cost.

Before purchasing, you should inspect the rear differential for leaks. The Quattro system is one of the most reliable, but not a single mechanism can survive without oil. If there is play in the shafts and the axle boots are not in better condition, then the starting investment package will increase by a tidy sum.

Chassis

One of the key components of the Audi Allroad is the air suspension, which surprises with its durability. It can easily withstand up to 200,000 km, but many copies have already surpassed this line. The cost of one air cylinder is from 14,000 rubles. If the pneumatic compressor gives up, you will have to prepare at least 35,000 rubles. Because of high cost repair, some owners replace the pneumatic elements with conventional shock absorbers and springs.

But air suspension isn't everything. The main dilemma is the aluminum levers, especially the front ones, which, with frequent trips outside of asphalt roads, cannot withstand even 20,000 km. The cost of one lever starts from 1,100 rubles, and a complete set for the front axle starts from 13,000. If you use a service to replace the levers, it is better to install the entire new set at once. This way you will save on work. The rear suspension is much more durable.

Typical problems and malfunctions

The remaining ailments of the Audi Allroad Quattro are minor electrical and equipment malfunctions (window lifters, lamps), display on-board computer and air conditioning systems. The likelihood of minor defects increasing with the age and mileage of the vehicle.

Take care of your manicure. Claimed mileage is 168,000 km.

Operating costs

There are practically no good copies that have no problems on the market, and if they do appear, they quickly find new owners. Thus, when purchasing a station wagon, you should keep an amount of about 50-80 thousand rubles in reserve, provided that at the time of purchase the engine and transmission are fully operational.

As with other Audi models, parts are easy to find. Almost all components have relatively inexpensive substitutes of good quality.

Market situation

Among the offers, the advantage is for the Audi Allroad 2.7 T. There are almost 3 times fewer diesel versions, and the flagship ones with a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated engine are only a couple of dozen. The main problem when searching is the actual condition, on which the final cost depends. Finding a good and well-maintained specimen without any defects is a great success. However, they ask for a little more for restyled copies. The price list ranges from 250 to 600 thousand rubles.

Conclusion

The Audi A6 Allroad is an interesting option in technical terms and very versatile in practical terms. It is well suited for traveling over difficult terrain, and powerful engines provide additional pleasure on paved roads. The main thing to realize is that the Allroad is still technically complex and not cheap to maintain.
