Programming the parameters of the remote and automatic start
The engine warm-up time is programmable and can be set to 10 or 20 minutes (section 5.2.4 of the programming table). For the automatic start mode, the start frequency is programmed (section 2.1). The time interval is counted from the moment of arming or from the moment
previous engine stop (except for 24-hour intervals). For diesel engines, there is a delay of 10 seconds for starting the starter after the ignition is applied. for the purpose of warming up the spark plugs, as well as increased starter operating time (clauses 5.2.3. and 5.2.5). It is also possible to use a temperature sensor built into the main unit (clause 5.2.8) or an external sensor/timer (clause 5.8.5 or 5.8.6). For a built-in sensor, the threshold value is changed by installing a jumper in the main unit (see p. 3).

2.8.3. Starting and stopping the engine
If automatic engine warm-up is enabled and the temperature sensor is disabled (clause 5.2.8.1), then the complex at set intervals (1, 2, 3, 4 or 24
hour) will start the engine. First, the operation of the shock sensor and the external zone of the microwave sensor is prohibited, the relay is turned on, supplying voltage to the 1st group of consumers (ignition, instrument panel, fuel pump, solenoid valve fuel injection pump and diesel preheating plugs), and the engine blocking is removed. After 1 sec (after 10 sec for diesel engine) the starter turns on. If the engine does not start, the attempt is repeated after 15 seconds. A total of three starting attempts are possible, and the first time the starter is turned on for 1 second, the second time for 2 seconds, the third time for
3 sec. (for diesel 2, 4, 6 sec.) clause 5.2.5.1. Startup attempts can be performed in reverse order of duration in paragraph 5.2.5.2. If the attempts are exhausted, the next autostart is possible only after disarming/arming. If the built-in temperature sensor is turned on (clause 5.2.8.2) and the temperature exceeds
threshold, then the next start cycle is skipped. During engine operation, the complex gives light signals for the first 40s and the last 40s with a frequency of 1 time in 4 seconds, the rest of the time with a frequency of 1 time in 30 seconds. To inform the owner about the results of engine starting, a

After starting the engine, the relay of the 2nd group of consumers is turned on.
To control the launch, an additional service input X5/1 WHITE can also be used (programming section 5.8). When installing clause 5.8.5
the negative potential from the temperature sensor at the service input allows the next start of the engine if, after arming or the previous start, the time specified in clause 2.1 has passed. At the end of the engine operation, the built-in timer of the complex begins counting a new time interval. If a 24-hour launch period is set using the built-in timer (clause 2.1.7), then this mode does not work. When clause 5.8.6 is set, any voltage drop from an external timer at the service input causes the engine to start, regardless of the settings in clause 2.1. The duration of the external timer pulse should not exceed the engine operating time set in paragraph 5.2.4. To cancel the mode, program paragraph 2.1.1.
If the contact zone is violated, the engine turns off and alarms begin to sound.

Engine locks
To block the engine, you can use the relay built into the main unit, the contacts of which are connected to connector X2 and can switch current up to 5A.
The switching conditions for the blocking relay are determined by programming in paragraph 5.1.1. When installing clause 5.1.1.1 (option 1, factory setting), the blocking relay
turns on when disarming, normally open contacts X2/5 and X2/4 close. In this case, the current consumed by the complex increases to 100 mA, which, if the DISARMED state is prolonged and the engine is not running, can lead to battery discharge. When setting clause 5.1.1.2 (option 2) in the DISARMED state, the relay turns on when the ignition is turned on. When setting clause 5.1.1.3 (option 3), the relay turns on when the ignition is turned on in the ARMED state. Normally closed contacts X2/5 and X2/6 in this case open the blocked circuit, preventing the engine from starting. If the ignition is not turned on, the blocked circuit is in its normal state. The appearance of the key fob, which famous designers worked on, is a visualization of the style, elegance and dynamism inherent in modern SUVs or business class cars. The tilt and motion sensor that Magic Systems introduced to the market several years ago is now integrated into the main unit. The new integrated sensor detects light impact, strong impact, tilt, and movement. The sensor is made using MEMS technology, combining microelectronic and micromechanical components, and special mathematical processing algorithms developed by Magic Systems engineers prevent false alarms . Consumption of the main unit of the system managed to reduce several times due to the new element base and energy-saving algorithms.

Stalker-600LAN3 in “security” mode consumes only 3 mAh! Light signaling control is implemented on field effect transistors, now the light alarm operates silently, which makes it impossible to detect the Stalker unit by relay clicks. The wishes of our customers were taken into account, resulting in Stalker-600LAN3 acquired a number of new functions: The hood lock is unlocked when disarming only if there is an anti-burglary tag in the radio visibility zone. The list of unique channel functions has been expanded (closing the hatch when arming has been added, etc.). Each of the 6 channels incl. power (relay output) can perform universal functions. Now you can easily organize, for example, remote unlocking of the trunk.

The list of events that can trigger each channel has been expanded, and new durations and pauses have been added. Installing an automatic and remote start system has become much easier. New mini launcher MS-A4, operating via a LAN bus, can be located near the steering column, where there are many wires for connecting the autostart system. And the location of the main Stalker unit can only be influenced by the design of the car and the installer’s imagination.

Installation Features

Installation of the Stalker 600 alarm system should only be carried out on a car with the battery power turned off.

The installation algorithm looks like this:

  1. With the ignition and electrical equipment turned off, the control unit is installed. Its installation is carried out secretly, in a place not exposed to moisture, high temperatures and other external influences. The module is fixed on a flat surface using self-tapping screws or double-sided tape. The block should be placed with the block facing down to prevent moisture from getting inside through the wires.
  2. The siren is placed under the hood of the car. There should be no cylinder head, intake manifold, or moving parts near the device. The device is placed with the horn down to prevent moisture from accumulating in it. The wires are routed into the car interior. Connections in engine compartment are not allowed, since the contacts may oxidize.
  3. The shock sensor and additional controllers are installed inside the car. A flat metal surface is used to fix them. The wires are routed to the control unit under the cladding.
  4. The transceiver module is located on the front or rear window, as high as possible. This will ensure maximum quality when receiving and transmitting signals. The surface must first be cleaned and degreased. Metal objects and electronic devices are not allowed near the transceiver module.
  5. Limit switches are installed on the hood and trunk. Their installation is carried out on a flat metal surface, away from drains. If you purchased switches for doors, then they also need to be installed. In any case, the devices should not be visible when the hood and trunk are closed.

The new key fob should be registered like this:

  1. The password is entered for service auto. If the PIN code has not been changed and the standard one is used, then it is not necessary to indicate it.
  2. Enters the setup and programming menu.
  3. The protection mode activation button is pressed and held for two seconds. After “clicking” on the first key LED indicator should fire with a long flash. This indicates successful device pairing.

Setting up autorun

Before implementing the autorun settings, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. The first step is to turn the toggle switch to the activated position. The alarm is equipped with a push-button switch; its location must be checked with the installer if the installation was not carried out independently. The lever must be moved to the upper position.
  2. On vehicles with manual transmission The gear selector is set to neutral mode. If the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, then you need to turn on “Parking”. You need to lift the lever hand brake and place chocks under the wheels if they are weak and do not allow you to fix the car in place.
  3. The engine must be running all this time. The key is now turned in the lock to turn off the ignition, and then removed from the lock. If the vehicle is equipped automatic transmission, then the motor will stop on its own, if it’s mechanical, it will continue to work. The alarm will send an audio message to the remote control to warn the car owner that it is ready for auto start.
  4. Within one minute, the driver must leave the vehicle and lock all door locks. Security mode is also activated. If the car is equipped with a manual transmission, then after these steps the engine will stop.

By temperature

Setting the “by temperature” option looks like this:

  1. The user enters the option programming menu using the first button. If its value was originally changed, then the corresponding key is applied.
  2. You enter the autorun mode settings - submenu 5.2.
  3. The temperature controller parameters are selected. This is only possible if the appropriate sensor is installed in the vehicle. You need to go to submenu 5.2.8.
  4. A function is selected; if it is in 5.2.8.1, the option is disabled. The temperature threshold of -10 degrees is set by moving the cursor to submenu 5.2.8.2. If it is necessary to reduce the parameter to -15, set function 5.2.8.3, etc.
  5. The option selection is confirmed and the programming menu can be exited.

By time

The time setting is carried out as follows:

  1. The user enters the key fob programming menu.
  2. The engine autostart function is selected. The cursor must be moved to the position of function 2.1.
  3. The time settings are being changed. Options 2.1.3 will allow you to run power unit hourly, 2.1.4 - every 2 hours, 2.1.5 - every 3 hours, etc.
  4. The specified parameters are selected. You can exit the programming menu.

If the preparation of the engine for autostart was completed successfully, the power unit will start under the specified conditions.

Emergency management

Activation of the security mode in the event of loss or breakdown of the communicator is done as follows:

  1. Press the I key on the code switch twice.
  2. Button II is briefly “clicked” once.
  3. The driver leaves the vehicle. All door locks, hood and trunk are lockable.
  4. After 15 seconds, the alarm will automatically diagnose the state of the security zones. The protection mode will be activated.

To disarm security without a remote control, perform the following steps:

  1. The car doors are opened with a key. The alarm will turn on and the siren will start sounding.
  2. The key is inserted into the lock and the ignition is activated. Alarms will be temporarily disabled.
  3. The password is entered using the code switch.
  4. If the code is successfully accepted by the control unit, the alarm will turn off and unlock all locks. LED light bulb will stop flickering.

Why doesn't the key fob see the car?

Reasons why the communicator cannot synchronize with the alarm control unit:

  1. The battery in the remote control is low. If the power supply goes down, this may affect the remote control's communications. At first the signal will deteriorate and then disappear altogether. To fix the problem, the battery must be changed. The back cover of the communicator is removed and the battery is inserted into the free compartment, taking into account the polarity.
  2. Incorrect installation of the antenna module. If the device is located close to metal parts or electronic devices, the connection quality will be poor. You need to reinstall the transceiver unit to another location.
  3. Failure of the antenna or damage to its wire. If the device breaks down, the problem can only be solved by replacing it. You can determine a damaged electrical circuit using visual diagnostics; if this does not help, use a multimeter. If the cable insulation is damaged, the signal quality will also decrease. A bad wire must be replaced.
