Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo sedan: budget legionnaires. Compare Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Tiguan Comparison of Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Rapid

A year ago, they had an almost equal number of fans. But today's situation looks different. Even with a significant reduction automotive market Volkswagen Polo managed to increase sales, but here are the results Nissan Almera became noticeably lower. Let's try to figure out why!

Both play in the same league of budget compact sedans and target the same customers, but each has its own way of wooing audiences. Yes, in order to save money, these cars were not created from scratch, but became alterations of already finished models. The Polo sedan grew out of a sister hatchback tailored to a demanding European client. But Almera in its filling is closest to simple and time-tested. They have a common platform, powertrains, not to mention the interior design, which we had the opportunity to see 12 years ago. And although formally she is already 9 years younger than her donor, she is in no hurry to get rid of the assets she inherited, and indeed to change and grow with new goodness. Its arsenal still consists of a single 102-horsepower engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or with a structurally simple, but not the smoothest and most economical 4-band DP series automatic. In the list of equipment - a pair of front airbags, ABS, air conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, 4 power windows, heated front seats and exterior mirrors, Nissan Connect multimedia system with navigation, leather steering wheel - this is the maximum that Almera can offer. It is a pity that parking sensors that would not interfere with this sedan, alas, were not on the list of factory equipment and options.

But the sedan has changed quite significantly over the six years of its presence on our market. After last year's restyling, the car began to look more solid, and its interior became more expensive. At the same time, the engines have increased in power, and the sound insulation in quality. Finally, the list of available equipment has expanded significantly. Now the most affordable Volkswagen in the Russian lineup can be ordered with the advanced RCD 330 multimedia complex with support for Mirror Link technology or bi-xenon headlights.

It is clear that the price tag of the Polo loaded with options as much as possible strains the nervous system, exceeding 900 thousand rubles, but no one forces you to stock up to the fullest. There is a quite substantial Trendline package, which, together with an optional air conditioner, costs 632,490 rubles. For a similar set, dealers ask for 22,000 rubles more. Prices for the most affordable versions of Almera with automatic transmission start at 700,000 rubles. The German sedan is only 4,500 rubles more expensive. At the same time, its 6-band automatic works faster and more smoothly. Therefore, in order to equalize the chances of rivals on the road as much as possible, we chose versions with 5-speed manual gearboxes for comparison.

It's hard to win alone. Especially if you confront such a powerful automotive power as Germany. Pedantry and attention to detail, brought up from birth in German families, after a couple of decades become permanent features of the character of every "Teutonic".

The French, realizing that they can’t even pull out a draw on their own in the confrontation between Logan and the Volkswagen Polo sedan, decided to make an alliance with the famous ancient automobile concern from the Land of the Rising Sun - Nissan. The union united two main positive sides future cooperation: unshakable Japanese reliability and modern French design of the exterior and interior of the car.

As a result of Franco-Japanese cooperation, the Nissan Almera was born - a significant year in 1995. For more than 15 years, the model wandered around the European markets under various names, until it finally reached the Russian consumer.

In 2012, our illustrious AvtoVAZ from Togliatti took up the assembly of the car. The 2005 model of the year, the Nissan Bluebird Silfi, was taken as the basis, which was designed on the B0 platform, the patrimony of the French automobile industry. In the spring of 2013, the "French-Japanese" with the Russian "registration" was put on stream.

Last year, the Asian was trimmed: they changed the appearance a bit, refreshed the interior and upgraded the engine compartment. In the salons official dealers the basic package "Welcome" showed up with a price tag of half a million rubles (of course, on a special offer*).

The special price "fell" on the "basic" from Wolfsburg, more precisely from the Kaluga plant. Volkswagen Polo sedan under the recycling program now costs 508,900 rubles. A little more expensive than the "Japanese", but the difference is not so noticeable.

The appearance of a new - fifth generation of the Volkswagen Polo, the main crown of the German automotive industry, was marked by the Geneva Motor Show, held in 2009. The efforts of Walter de Silva, the chief designer who designed the appearance of the "German", were not in vain - the novelty was recognized as " Best car 2010".

With the entry into the European market of the refreshed German sedan in wide circles, they immediately started talking about Russian version car. Rumors were confirmed in the spring of 2010, when the first copy of the new car was shown to journalists at a private show. An agreement was immediately concluded with the Kaluga car factory, and since the autumn of 2010, an intensive assembly of brand new Polos began.

Everywhere in all sources, the same information began to appear that the Volkswagen Polo had undergone a complete adaptation to Russian operating conditions: the Germans revised the suspension technology, added many electronic functions for comfortable movement in cold weather, “pumped” the engine, raised the ground clearance and etc. The Germans really tried, but in fact it turned out worse than expected. Rear suspension not only is it harsh, but it is also located low - when the cabin is fully loaded, it will not be difficult to break through it. Of the heating options in the basic version, only is available - that's all the preparation for the climatic conditions of Russia.

The attempt is not torture, but apparently the German experts tested the "German" on other roads. Definitely not ours. In principle, Japanese and French experts could only dream of Russian roads in their worst nightmare. The result is obvious: the suspension of the state employee is low from the ground level, the clearance is even less than that of the competitor from Kaluga - 160 mm, and in order to warm up quickly in winter, you will have to pay extra to the dealer for heating the front seats - of all the heating options in the basic equipment, only filaments on the rear window.

After pouring a tub of mud on both models of the opposing sides, you can go to positive qualities. Who is still better: the Togliatti "samurai" or the Kaluga "pedant-German"?

Comparison of car exteriors

In terms of the exterior, Japanese designers showed the most imagination. The Asian sedan has a phantasmagoric image of a fire-breathing dragon from popular Japanese folk tales. The catchy head optics of irregular shape immediately attracts attention, inspiring immense fear of a winged creature. It affects the subconscious bright undisguised aggression of the monster. And so that the influence does not fade away, the radiator grille glistens in the rays of the sun, shimmering with chrome reflections, mesmerizing the look of the victim. Finally, the plastic air intake mesh completes the image of a ferocious lizard. It improves aerodynamics, and. And how it breathes fire! It won't seem like much.

In other details, we see a completely standard sedan. Fog lights are ordinary round “wells” of light. Wheel arches - "gray" everyday niches for installing 14-inch wheels, which in expensive trim levels change to 15-inch cast fixtures. endowed with a chrome finish - a nice little plus from Japanese manufacturers. On the doors, traditional stampings in the upper part and along the thresholds are a small hint of the developed dynamics of the car. The roofline - a smooth curve - a wave is not much different from the standards of any sedan.

Nevertheless, they also worked on the stern - the whole backside is slightly raised. Still, classic sedans do not have such waste from the standard. The rear end looks stylish due to the lights, each of which is divided by a tailgate. The shape of the plafonds resembles narrowed eyes, slyly looking back at the pursuers.

The body dimensions of the Nissan Almera are mesmerizing: for a “state employee”, the dimensions are just perfect. "Togliatti" outright smashes the Kaluga "German" in length and height: 4656 and 1522 mm against 4390 and 1467 mm, respectively. There are no big differences in width: both models “stout” to almost 1.7 m. The wheelbase of the “French-Japanese” due to the large length of the car exceeds the parameter of the Volkswagen Polo by 15 cm.

Many people like the simple everyday forms of the Volkswagen Polo: a small but elegant radiator grille, perfectly aligned lines of the hood and other surfaces of the car, standard headlights (as well as rear lights), long stripes of punching along the sides, and the stern is a common truth that most classic new generation sedans follow.

However, from a practical point of view, the "German" still loses to the Japanese "samurai". The overwhelming size of the Nissan Almera and a large wheelbase - due to these parameters, the palm rightfully passes to the Japanese camp. But what is going on inside the cars?

Interior and car engines

In the salon, fans of the Asian concern will be disappointed: they wanted to ride a Japanese “horse”, and as a result, the image of the French Logan rises before their eyes. The same plastic three-spoke steering wheel, behind which hides a “tidy” with a disgusting orange monochrome screen in the center and one indicator of direction indicators. on the steering column switch? Why move the power window controls to the center console? Why copy the shape and design of the deflectors from the "Frenchman"?

Do the Japanese have no imagination at all? Unless in the top versions: perched on the central panel. This quality can be found in the "senior" models of the Japanese concern like the "Beetle" or "Qashqai". The pluses include the comfort of the chairs. with a high back and some semblance of lateral support is slightly harsh, but it can be worse. The rear sofa is spacious: the legs will not push, as well as the shoulders of three passengers of a standard build. The materials are so-so in quality, but the fit is masterful. The trunk is huge - 500 liters of free space. Unfortunately, the backs of the rear seats do not fold, and there is no way to expand the space.

Volkswagen Polo volume luggage compartment is 460 liters, but it is complemented by the spaciousness of the rear passenger seats - here the backs are folded in a ratio of 60:40. "German" outperforms a competitor from Asia in many respects. The simple design of the appearance of the sedan easily migrates to the interior of the car. The same Spartan spirit rules here. All elements are made with German precision and an incredible level of ergonomics. The Germans did not use anyone's patterns - they created on their own. The materials, by the way, are better than in the Japanese salon: at least they don’t look so cheap.

Sitting in the driver's seat is more pleasant than on the Nissan Almera. It is denser with a long cushion and very noticeable lateral support. Despite a solid loss in size, the interior of the Volkswagen Polo is not at all crowded. Three passengers can easily fit in the back seat. The only drawback is that there is a little lack of legroom: after all, the wheelbase is not the same as on the Franco-Japanese sedan.

The obvious "hack" on the part of the Japanese did not work: copying Logan's interior is a bad idea. Therefore, in terms of interior equipment, the Polo sedan is the clear leader. It remains to find out who is better in technical terms. The last characteristic that will determine the winner of the competition.

The Japanese manufacturer equips all Almera configurations with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder “aspirated” DOHC, which produces 102 hp. at 5750 rpm The maximum torque is 145 Nm. The motor is paired with two transmissions - 5-speed "mechanics" or automatic transmission for 4 bands.

The German company has developed a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder unit for the Polo sedan. The base 85-horsepower internal combustion engine has a torque of 145 Nm, which provides acceleration to “hundreds” in 12 seconds. But in the older version - a 105-horsepower engine with a torque of 153 Nm - the indicator is much better - 10.5 seconds. And it surpasses the acceleration dynamics of the Japanese sedan, whose coefficient is 11 seconds with a “tail”. The engines are controlled by two types of transmissions: 5-range manual transmission and 6-speed "automatic".

The indicators speak for themselves - in an unequal struggle, the Kaluga "Spartan" wins. "German" is more expensive than the representative of the Land of the Rising Sun, but the difference is hardly discernible. The Japanese sedan looks more stylish and dynamic, but its competitor has a significant advantage in the salon "stuffing". Strict classic and good quality finishes pull the blanket over themselves, leaving the "samurai warrior" with nothing. The only privileges of the "Asian" - the large dimensions of the body are leveled by the high-class ergonomics of the "European".

Which is better: classic or modern, you decide.

When choosing a car, it is very important to choose exactly the one in which the person will be feel comfortable. Undoubtedly, many are looking for a budget option, with a complete set, supported by a pleasant interior and presentable appearance.

It is necessary to select a car based on certain technical characteristics. We offer to compare two cars: Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo.

Characteristic Nissan Almera

This vehicle is designed specially for Russian roads . Nissan Almera is good not only for its practicality, but is also a budget option for those who love the Japanese auto industry.

The suspension of the car is designed in such a way that there are no problems on the road. The skylight of this Nissan amounted to 160 millimeters.

The gasoline engine installed in this model is 1.6 liters. Acceleration at automatic box gears, reaches approx. 10.4 seconds up to 100 km/h. With regards to fuel consumption, Almera is quite unpretentious: with a manual transmission, it consumes approximately 7.2 liters, and with an automatic box - 8.5 liters.

The engine power of this Japanese up to 120 horsepower. Nissan Almera, despite its “compactness”, is very spacious inside. In addition to a spacious interior, Almera has roomy trunk, volume up to 500 liters.

Nissan Almera is equipped with a color touch screen that responds to any touch, an output for an SD card, USB flash drive, air conditioning and rear parking sensors.

Speaking of Nissan, it is worth mentioning the pleasant bonus that this company provides to car owners. This bonus is called "roadside assistance". In the case when there was a nuisance on the road, for example, the car does not give any "signs of life", then it is very simple to solve this issue. You need to call the dealer, explain the situation, after which, a tow truck arrives, which picks up the car absolutely free of charge, delivers it to a service center, and there they eliminate the cause of the breakdown.

Characteristic Volkswagen Polo

The model under consideration proudly bears its name, not inferior in its technical characteristics to its competitors, Koreans and Japanese. This model has 163 mm ground clearance, which is undoubtedly welcomed by Russian consumers.

Volkswagen Polo, has Gas engine, with a volume of 1.6 liters. The acceleration of this model is approx. 11.7 seconds up to 100 km/h. Initially, engine power was presented in two variations - 85 and 105 horsepower. However, a little later, the manufacturer released more powerful engine90 and 110 horsepower.

The volume of fuel consumed with a manual gearbox, with the first version of engine power, was - 5.7 liters. When this model was re-released, with more engine power, the amount of fuel consumed reached 5.9 liters.

With regards to comfort in the cabin, the Volkswagen Polo has heated front seats, all electric windows, the steering wheel is adjustable in two planes.

This sedan has a spacious trunk with a volume of 460 liters, but at the same time, the interior itself is not too big.

In this model, even in the basic configuration there is heating windshield, which greatly saves drivers in winter time of the year.

Volkswagen Polo is very easy to operate, maintain, at the same time, the suspension is simple, which allows you to service such a car not only in a service center.

General characteristics of Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo

Of course, Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo are similar in their characteristics. So, the models under consideration have the following similarities:

  • Drive unit. Both cars are front-wheel drive only.
  • Ground clearance. The difference between the cars in question is only 3 millimeters.
  • Engine power. Difference in horsepower, between Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo, is quite insignificant, which allows them to be combined on this basis.
  • Noise isolation.
  • Appearance. Both machines, appearance compact and look pretty nice, body type - sedan.

For everyone, their own version of the car is ideal, however, after analyzing specifications, Nissan Almera and Volkswagen Polo, we can conclude that the difference between them is small.

Comparative differences

If, first of all, you pay attention to the exterior, then the Nissan Almera will suit your liking more than the German competitor. However, for those who love classics and simplicity more, it is worth taking a closer look at the Volkswagen Polo.

Volkswagen Polo, compared to Nissan Almera, has an informative dashboard, however, the air conditioning control system is obsolete, which immediately catches the eye of a motorist.

Nissan Almera wider than the Volkswagen Polo, which is immediately felt during a test drive. In addition, the Nissan Almera has large side mirrors, which improves visibility from the car, and therefore it is almost impossible not to notice another car on the road, which means that the likelihood of getting into an accident is reduced.

In terms of driving characteristics, the Nissan Almera wins because it is softer and more comfortable to drive. The Nissan Almera also has a longer shock absorber travel, which provides comfort when crossing bumps, speed bumps.

Volkswagen Polo loses to Nissan Almera in the fact that the latter has steel engine protection, which is undoubtedly important when operating a car.

How to choose a car?

Car enthusiasts who prefer comfort will also like the Volkswagen, because, as befits a German, it is very accurate and convenient.

When choosing a car for the city, you should pay attention to the Japanese auto industry, since the Almera is simply made for the city, it is less dynamic and is suitable for those who like a quiet ride.

Volkswagen should be chosen by those who love dynamics and classic German simplicity and practicality, this is a more “compact” model, but if the car is not taken as a family car, then the choice is definitely in favor of the “German”.

In fact, it is very difficult to look for differences and choose between these two cars, since they both belong to the B - class. As a rule, representatives of the B - class are very similar, since they are a budget option for drivers.

Before making a choice in favor of one or another car, of course, it is worth conducting a test drive of both cars, because, having felt the car while driving, there will be no doubt about the correctness of the choice.

At all times in our country, budget cars of foreign production were in great demand.

Of course, we can talk for a long time about the pros and cons of each individual car, but today we would like to consider the real sales leaders: Nissan Almera Classic and Volkswagen Polo.

Nissan Almera Classic

Before appearing on the domestic market, this car managed to win the market of Asia. Fast and comfortable, reliable and roomy. These properties are inherent in this machine. Over the years, its popularity has only been growing, and the release of an updated version of the sedan has become another proof of this. But let's get back to Classic.

The determining factors in its acquisition are:

  • Reliable 1.6-liter engine developing power up to 107 l / s;
  • Roomy trunk up to 460 liters;
  • Relatively low fuel consumption - no more than 7.5 liters in the combined cycle;
  • Choice of automatic or mechanical box gear;
  • foreign assembly.

Buying Almera classic on credit is also quite simple. There are a number of sales promotion programs for Nissan products. Also, banks willingly give loans for this car, knowing its positive reputation.

Volkswagen Polo

This is another car that has proven itself on domestic roads. Now there are two modifications - a sedan and a hatchback. The first, like many products of the Volkswagen concern, supplied to Russia, is produced in Kaluga. The second, in turn, comes to us from Spain.

If we compare these two cars, we can understand that only the name connects them. And the character, and assembly, and design - everything is different. But we can definitely say that if you want to purchase budget car proven brand with all the advantages of an inexpensive car, then the Polo sedan is your choice.

You can buy a Volkswagen Polo on credit with the following modifications:

  • trendline;
  • comfortline;
  • Highline.

As you can see, the equipment is standard for the entire Volkswagen product line. As for the engine, the buyer is waiting for a high-revving reliable engine with a volume of 1.6 liters and a capacity of up to 105 l / s. Fuel consumption reaches a maximum of 7 liters in the combined cycle. Trunk volume is also 460 liters.

If you compare these two cars, then they are, in essence, absolutely the same type. Here, the choice is already based on the principle of "like - dislike." There are few downsides to both models. Many note only a not very high-quality paintwork on the Nissan Almera, and Polo owners complain about the low-hanging rear spring supports.

Nissan Almera Tekna AT (559,000 rubles) and Volkswagen Polo sedan Highline AT (649,100 rubles)

In previous issues

Three years ago, we only looked and tried on the Polo sedan, and the Aveo, now of the past generation, was at the zenith of its fame and popularity. The newcomer then turned out to be stronger in all respects, however, and cost more than the opponent.

"State employee" with "machine gun" ceases to be an exception to the rule. Polo's advantage in technology turned out to be overwhelming: its modern 6-speed automatic transmission easily put the middle-aged 4-speed "automatic" Logan on both blades. But in the price of the "Frenchman" then won.

Represented

Almera is based on the 2005 Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, built on the B0 platform familiar from Renault Logan. After adapting to full-cycle production at the VAZ, the features of the source can only be guessed in appearance. The interior has been redesigned and largely unified with the same "Logan". The power unit is borrowed from him. The first commodity Almera began to roll off the Togliatti conveyor at the beginning of this year.

Volkswagen Polo sedan - "Russian" with experience. Its assembly according to full cycle started in 2010 at a car factory in Kaluga. The base model was the fifth-generation Polo hatchback based on the PQ25 platform. Russian Polo (aka Indian Vento, and in Brazil and South Africa - Polo Classic) differs from its progenitor not only in bodywork, but also in chassis settings, powertrain and nuances in interior decoration.

Looked

The abundance of chrome (except for the basic configuration), large expressive headlight eyes, impressive dimensions for its class and design in the Teana style ... All this against the backdrop of the modest predecessor Almera Classic is just a holiday! But as soon as you open the door and sit in the salon, you will find yourself in the painfully familiar Logan! Of course, not a copy, but the same, rude, with a huge core, albeit with the Nissan emblem, a steering wheel, an instrument panel with a poisonous orange background of a monochrome display and one turn signal indicator on both sides. And also - the horn button on the end of the left stalk switch. For a "Frenchman" this is still understandable, but in a Japanese car it is nonsense. However, the shape of the dashboard is still its own, original, and looks nicer, but round deflectors and a center console with a reverse slope and front power window keys on it - all this is again a complete association with the French Moskvich. The only detail (in the top version) is clearly Nissan - it's navigation. Such a two-din size machine is found in many more expensive models, including Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail. Finishing materials Almera frankly budget, but they look pretty decent. Yes, and you won’t particularly find fault with fitting the panels.

It's comfortable to drive - a chair made in Russia according to French patterns is not ideal, but not the worst in the budget segment. The pillow is long, the back is high, with a hint of lateral support. I wish the stuffing was a little stiffer, but overall it's ok. This seat also has a feature familiar Logan owners: when you try to use the height adjustment, it bounces on the springs, and the desired position is selected by bouncing and fixed by releasing the lever. How convenient it is is a moot point, but it is difficult to refuse originality. But the mother-in-law will definitely be pleased with the Almera salon - when landing on backseat there is a lot of legroom, the trunk is huge. The sofa, however, is quite flat, and even with a rather large slope of the rigidly fixed back. But its width is enough to fit three adults of normal build.

Despite the three-year experience of active sales, the Kaluga Polo looks valiantly in the stream. The classic German design of a compact sedan, although it has become familiar due to the abundance of these cars on the roads, has not yet become obsolete. The interior is organically combined with the exterior - inside it is also a real Volkswagen. No frills - a strict corporate style, which most fans of the brand are accustomed to. Finishing materials, of course, are noticeably “thinner” (more precisely, harder and louder) than in the top version of the hatchback of the same name, but the interior looks quite solid, especially against the background of the opponent.

Well, driving a Polo is even more convenient than in an Almera. The range of seat adjustments for both cars is equally large, but the “German” seat itself is better. It's stiffer, the cushion is even longer, and there's tangible lateral support. In addition, the position of the steering column can be changed in two directions, and not in one, like the Almera. The bagel itself is slightly smaller in size and more grasping, sound signal on the core of the steering wheel, and the devices and the light control algorithm delight with proven German classicism. Against the background of Almera, the "Kaluzhan" seems to be closer, but this illusion is only partly true. In terms of the width and height of the cabin, our opponents are close, but in the legroom of the rear passengers, the Polo is really inferior to the “Japanese” from Tolyatti. This is not surprising: the Polo is much shorter and has a smaller base. But the trunk is more practical than the Almera. Although it is 40 liters less, but the backs fold, and even in parts, however, forming a floor with a small step.

swept

Sitting behind the wheel of an Almera, especially with an "automatic", driver's ambitions can be safely left at home. Borrowed from Logan 1.6-liter (102 hp) engine and 4-speed "automatic" do not have to active driving. A sharp start with the pedal to the floor does not make sense - the engine frightens with a roar, and acceleration is very mediocre. The same story with the lead on the track. The “automatic” is thoughtful, and even when it is “worthy” to drop from fourth to second gear, the motor rests against the speed limiter, and in the third there is not enough power for a decisive thrust forward. But a measured ride on the Almera through the cities and between them is quite pleasant. Energy-intensive long-travel suspension swallows almost all types of familiar Russian road bumps. The steepness of the turn and the speed of its passage can be almost exactly determined by proportional body roll, and the magnitude of road waves - by longitudinal buildup. The steering wheel is heavy, there is no particular severity in the near-zero zone, but the steering accuracy and directional stability are decent. And even in an asphalt rut, the car does not shy away from side to side.

Against the background of a “soft and fluffy” opponent, the Polo looks like a tennis ball - an elastic, even slightly harsh, but energy-intensive suspension, a rather strict steering wheel and a more aggressive reaction to a sharp increase in gas. On the high revs The 105-horsepower motor is no less vocal, but it provides more intense acceleration and a general feeling of dynamism, mainly due to the more “nimble”, especially in sport mode, 6-speed "automatic". And this is an important factor for many consumers. True, according to the passport, Polo outperforms Almera by only 0.6 s when accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h.

asked the price

For the base Almera (Welcome) with a manual gearbox, ABS, a pair of pillows, power steering, front electric windows and audio preparation, you will have to pay 429,000 rubles. In this case, you should put up with black door handles, trunk molding, mirrors and stamped wheels. Comfort with "mechanics" (plus heated front seats and a driver's lift, central locking with remote control, electric mirrors, chrome on the handles and trunk molding, metal edging in the interior) - this is already 453,000 rubles. For 21,000 rubles. - air conditioning, for another 30,000 - automatic transmission and for 5,000 - alloy wheels. The top Tekna with a manual gearbox costs 523,000 rubles. It already has four electric windows, a leather steering wheel and an audio system. Surcharge for automatic transmission - the same, and for navigation Nissan Connect - 12,000 rubles.

The basic Polo Trendline (ABS, two pillows, four power windows, central locking and audio preparation) is more expensive - 449,000 rubles. Among the options, air conditioning - 35,310 rubles, alloy wheels - 19,640 rubles, a security system with remote control - 14,910 rubles, metallic paint - 15,300 rubles. The Comfortline version (from 530,100 rubles with a manual gearbox) already has “music”, air conditioning and other options. For an additional payment of 46,700 rubles. there will be an AKP. The Polo Highline (from 594,500 rubles with a manual gearbox or 641,200 rubles with an automatic transmission) already has a two-zone climate control and electric heating of the windshield, plus a Premium package (ESP, multifunction steering wheel and four airbags) is available for 42,700 rubles. But there is no navigation for Polo.

Outcome

Editor:

Apparently, Almera was developed on the principle of "cheap and cheerful." Outwardly, it is solid and attractive. But everything inside is from Renault Logan with all its shortcomings and advantages, of which we note only spacious salon, energy-intensive suspension and high ride comfort. However, the Polo is head and shoulders above its opponent in terms of ergonomics, handling and dynamics. And this, believe me, is a lot. So definitely Volkswagen.

Editor:

− Betting on cheaper prices entails certain compromises. The question is where to stay. In the case of Almera, the rich appearance is dissonant with the budget of the interior and equipment. There are also claims power unit- for such big car he is weak. But it is still difficult to find fault with Polo - it is harmonious in appearance, interior, driving performance and practicality. But the price is also "adult" ...
