That Megane conquered me with the convenience of the cabin and the comfort of the suspension, so I changed it to a hatchback - also a five-year-old one, with the same mileage of 80 thousand kilometers, but in the Dynamique configuration, with a 1.6 engine and an “automatic”. I knew about the weakness of the box, but on this car the valve block had already been replaced under warranty. But I “hit” the phase regulator of the engine - a few months after the purchase, its replacement, along with a belt and a pump, cost 15 thousand rubles, and then through an acquaintance. Soon, half of the ignition coils had to be changed on this engine (no longer under warranty, 1000 rubles apiece). Further - cooler: due to the short circuit of the wiring that rotted in the back door, the fuse box first flew, and then the starter burned out (the tow truck and repairs with used spare parts cost 17 thousand rubles). And all this happened in a year and 15 thousand kilometers. In general, my next car is unlikely to be Megane.
