We were helped in the testing process by a not very young, but fully charged 12-volt Bosch Silver 100 Ah car battery, which produced a voltage of 13.1-13.2 V. The chargers were connected to the battery, after which the voltage they produced was measured without load. Then a 1A load was connected, with which the real current and voltage were assessed. Afterwards, the load was increased to 2A, and the voltage and output current were re-evaluated.

But the main test is the voltage and current readings 10 minutes after the start of charging the smartphone with a maximum current consumption of 1 A. During this short time, the chargers heated up, and the currents they produced dropped noticeably. But they are the ones that interest us.

SA 2211

— On the case it says 2.1 A + 1 A, the name of the product indicates 2.1 A, but in the characteristics table the seller indicates only 1 A.

This is the worst charge imaginable.

Firstly, its side contacts are located very low, and in the cigarette lighters of some car models it simply caused a short circuit, burning the fuse.

Secondly, the assembly is so flimsy that contact with the cigarette lighter disappears from time to time. And to return it, you need to find a good charging position in the cigarette lighter...

Well, and most importantly, it does not produce more than 0.7 A.
