Compact crossover from the Middle Kingdom Lifan X60 New. Lifan X60 review: reviews, technical specifications and price Tech d auto Lifan x 60

Lifan X60 - photographs, technical specifications and reviews from owners. Prices and configurations of the Lifan X60 crossover for the Russian Federation.

The Lifan X60 is positioned by the developers as an SUV. But it is immediately worth noting that he is not one. The reason for this is quite simple - this car does not have all-wheel drive. So, no matter what the Chinese call it, for us it will be a compact crossover.

When you first look at this car, a silhouette that is already familiar to many immediately pops up in your mind. Indeed, this car reminds me a little Japanese Toyota Rav-4 is also a little similar to either Kia or Hyundai.

In principle, the X60’s exterior follows trends that have emerged recently in the production of SUVs and crossovers. Lifan, like its many classmates, has a rather impressive radiator grille and slanted headlights.

Getting closer, you can see that Chinese manufacturers are not very “concerned” with the issue of quality of production and body assembly. In some places there are quite impressive gaps between parts, where, in principle, there should not be any. Some elements (in particular the radiator) may be painted sloppily - with sagging and streaks. All in all appearance The car (or rather, the build quality) of the Lifan X60 can be given a C grade.

Salon and interior

When you open the door, your gaze is drawn to a rather attractive interior. The impression of high-quality finishing and comfort is created. But again, this is just an impression. Inexpensive plastic is used to trim the car interior. It is worth noting that although the interior trim is made of inexpensive material, the manufacturers did their best and secured all the elements quite well. When driving, the X60 does not resemble a baby rattle (like many of its compatriots), the plastic behaves well and does not hold together.

The leather upholstery is also of average quality. Even with a cursory examination, folds in the skin catch the eye. But the finishing material, in principle, cannot be called unpleasant to the touch.

Looking at the front panel of the car, again there is a feeling that there is something familiar before your eyes. And this familiar thing is very reminiscent of the interior decoration of the Toyota Rav-4. Indeed, in this case, the car developers did not bother and borrowed the idea from the Japanese. It is impossible to say that the front panel is one hundred percent plagiarism of the Rav-4. Still, Lifan designers showed a little imagination and added a little of their own.

It is worth paying attention to the rather attractive and original dashboard of this car. It is quite informative and easy to read. However, some may still have difficulty understanding the information. This is due to the fact that some numbers and letters are not large in size.

What we can say thank you to the developers of the Lifan X60 is that they did not skimp on the space in the car interior. They can easily fit here (both in the front and on the rear seats) not only short Chinese, but also healthy Russian men. And the trunk volume of this crossover is equal to 405 liters, which not all of its “classmates” can boast of.

Suspension, ride quality and brakes

When developing the suspension, the Chinese also did not invent anything new. The well-proven MacPherson system is used at the front and a three-link design at the rear. In principle, this is the best option for a crossover.

Particular attention should be paid to the suspension settings. The car is quite rolly. As a result, the X60 may experience noticeable roll when cornering. And when passing rather steep turns, you need to be especially careful not to lay the car on its side.

As for the brakes, there is nothing to complain about. The car is equipped with disc brakes front and rear. It is worth paying tribute to the designers of this car in terms of development brake system. The brakes are set up perfectly and are ready at any moment to help ensure that the 1330 kg car literally freezes in place.

Engine and transmission

There are no complaints about the engine of this car. The 133-horsepower 1.8-liter engine was developed by Chinese engineers together with employees of the English company Ricardo. It is worth noting that it turned out to be of pretty good quality. Working in conjunction with a 5-speed manual transmission, it gives the car very good dynamic characteristics. But the X60 engine will still have to be “fed” with 95-octane gasoline.

It is worth noting that this power point fully complies with the requirements of the Euro-4 standard for the amount of CO emissions into the atmosphere. And the fuel consumption declared by the manufacturer is only 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle. For a crossover, this is not even a bad indicator.

And now the most interesting thing - car price. In this matter, Lifan X60 “outperformed” all its “classmates”. Car cost in basic configuration(and it includes central locking, ABS and EBD, electric windows and two airbags) starts at 500,000 rubles.

X60 in LX configuration (parking sensors, leather interior, alloy wheels, PTF, heated seats and air conditioning) will cost the potential owner about 560,000 rubles.

It is the price that is the most significant argument for buying this car, and what primarily determines the choice of car in our country.

The whole photo shoot

The idea of a perpetual motion machine is many hundreds of years old. But there is still not a single working model - the law of conservation of energy cannot be fooled!

The four of us comfortably loaded ourselves into the cherry X60, we also filled the trunk to capacity, and now we are slowly driving towards Mount Akhun. The fuel gauge is flashing and subtly hints that our crossover is about to stall. But we have already driven about thirty kilometers along mountain serpentines in the vicinity of Sochi and have never even turned off the air conditioning!

In China, they finally built a working example of a perpetual motion machine?!.. Everything is much more prosaic, on our X60, which just rolled off the assembly line yesterday, the fuel level sensor does not work. The design of the float is such that it is easy to damage during assembly fuel tank. And it’s not clear who to blame - the Chinese, who designed such a fragile part, or the workers Russian plant Derways who were careless during assembly.

Looking to the best

The X60's suspension design is classic - McPherson strut at the front and independent three-link at the rear. But they are not configured in the best way when cornering with good asphalt the crossover leans heavily, and its rear wheels at the same time, they “walk” left and right in the transverse direction. Although on straight sections the car is quite stable. It's just a little tough to overcome joints and potholes. But if you are a supporter of the saying “if you drive more quietly, you will go further,” you will not find anything particularly negative in the habits and manners of the X60.

Most importantly, in the bustle of the city, the X60 feels like a completely compact car, which, due to the huge mirrors and large glass area, makes it easy to change lanes and park even on the tightest streets.

"Going full sail"

Imagine this situation: you need to get somewhere by sea, and the time allotted for the journey is not limited. What will you do? Raise the sail and, thanks to the energy of the wind, you will sail calmly wherever your eyes look. What not perpetual motion machine? The main thing is to avoid storms and periodically patch up the sail when it becomes leaky. Of course, you can only move on land under sail in deserts.

But in general, the essence is very clear - today you can move for free and for as long as you like only with the help of “free” wind energy... and also with solar energy, of course. But night happens much more often than absolute calm at sea.

Here comes the Chinese one Lifan company chose a “perpetual motion machine” as its logo - three stylized sails, symbolizing quality, innovative technologies and customer care.

True, we did not find any exceptional innovations in the Lifan X60, and the quality of the car, despite the Circassian assembly, remained at the “typically Chinese” level. The plastic sill trim in the area of the left rear door came off right during the test drive, scraps of peeling sound insulation were found under the arches, and traces of poor-quality casting and subsequent processing were found on the suspension arms.

At the same time, the gaps on the body differ in places, the trunk door can only be closed by a person with strong muscles, and the manual transmission lever mechanism crunches during shifts.

What the Chinese are really good at is taking care of their customers. They promise by next year to present a version of the X60 specifically for the Russian market with a dark leather interior, as well as all-wheel drive.

At the same time, Lifan is also fine with service and service, for which the Chinese are traditionally criticized. Several million worth of spare parts and consumables have already been delivered to the central warehouse in Moscow, and soon regional dealers will also have their own stocks; by the way, there are as many as 79 of them.

But the segment available cars off-road is constantly expanding. And even now there is strong competition: you can buy Chinese analogues of Chery Tiggo / Vortex Tingo, you can support the domestic manufacturer and get a Chevy Niva, or do it easier and buy a bestseller - Renault Duster. How does the Lifan X60 stand out against the background of this brethren? Its main advantages are its rich equipment and spacious salon. And company representatives promised to stabilize the quality of the Circassian assembly and Chinese components.

One of the most famous Chinese cars can be considered Lifan X60. The technical characteristics of this machine cause great controversy among people who are real experts in terms of choice. good cars. So can we consider what this model represents?

Before discussing what Lifan X60 has specifications, it is worth noting several interesting facts. So, first of all, this car has become popular in China largely because it has a very low price. In new condition, the car will cost about half a million rubles. In China, this cost is indeed considered small. And for many of our fellow citizens, this is not money when it comes to a car. Many more are captivated by the pleasant appearance and interior. In general, to be honest, this is a car for picky motorists who just need a car for driving around the city and short trips. People purchasing this model precisely for these purposes, they are satisfied and leave exclusively positive reviews. Comfortable, cozy, cute - that's how they talk about their car.

Interestingly, the technical characteristics of which will be discussed later, is considered the most popular compact production. And the reasons that made him so famous have been discussed above. Well, then we should tell you more about it.

year 2014

The Chinese manufacturer released a lot of new products last year. Although most of them, of course, remained in the country of origin. But the updated Lifan X60 also rolled off the assembly line. have become better, and besides, specialists have improved chassis. The design was not touched. The developers just listened to what drivers had to say about their work of automotive art. As a result, the technical characteristics of the Lifan X60 have changed. Reviews assured that it would be better if there was an all-wheel drive version, because the front one is very uncomfortable, taking into account the kind of car we are talking about. Well, the manufacturers have done some work to improve the model.

Restyled version

So, what are the technical characteristics of the new Lifan X60 car? The drive, of course, became full. It was added to four wheels using a special 4WD system. After this, you can even choose a travel mode. And of course, other interesting updates appeared, for example, the suspension design was changed. The company's engineers have significantly redesigned it in accordance with modern requirements and other technological changes in the car. And in the cabin you can see an additional disc for adjusting the all-wheel drive mode. As a result of all this, the feeling of the trip will be completely different. So far, no one is risking betting and calling this car potential leader of the Chinese car market. But, judging by the forecasts and hopes placed on the model, it will be so.

Appearance

This car looks pretty good, in the best traditions of the manufacturing concern, one might say. By the way, when you look at this car, you get the feeling that the design has already been seen somewhere. And that's right. There is a noticeable similarity with the image of the Japanese flagship of the 2nd generation RAV4. But the exterior also displays modern lines, which have been carefully refined by Chinese designers.

However, many are not happy about this similarity with a Japanese celebrity, because everyone expects independence from the Chinese concern. But nevertheless, the design of the car turned out to be solid: clear ribs located throughout the body, good view a hood profile that opens directly from the cabin, high-quality front optics, a chrome-plated radiator grille, a corporate logo (also chrome-plated), a good profile and, finally, a decently designed interior.

Interior

Talking about the Lifan X60 car, technical characteristics, four-wheel drive and the exterior of this model, we cannot forget about its interior. It is decorated quite interestingly, but not original. And again there are similarities with the RAV4. The plagiarism was not approved by critics and motorists, but this did not make the interior look any worse. Ergonomics, thanks to the use of Japanese technologies in the production process, have changed and become magnificent. From now on Chinese crossover even picky critics can be perceived as a machine, and not something inferior.

Ride quality, power and electronics

This is perhaps the most important part of discussions regarding the Lifan X60 car. Technical characteristics, fuel consumption, engine power, ground clearance - all this, surprisingly, is not bad: a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter engine with 128 Horse power, five-speed manual transmission and even a special suspension design. The front wheels have a multi-link system, and the rear wheels have a unique three-link system. Plus, the Chinese have improved the racks, making them impossible to break through. By the way, they produce especially durable shock absorbers for Russia. In general, it was possible to increase cross-country ability, and for this the Lifan concern received praise from many critics and car enthusiasts. Fuel consumption, by the way, is also low: about 8 liters per 100 km - quite economical.

Chrome parts, comfortable steering wheel, leather interior, adjustable seats, air conditioning, sunroof, beautiful alloy wheels, parking sensors - the car is equipped with everything you need. Well, it’s a pretty good budget option, at least in China it has become popular.

In December 2016, official dealers received the first updated versions of LIFAN X60. The manufacturer follows the latest trends and often makes adjustments. It is worth noting that the last time the model was modernized was in 2015. As for the new product, it is another planned restyling of the first generation of the 2011 model. Despite this approach, technical part remained virtually unchanged and all improvements concerned the design and interior. Distinguish the car 2017 model year won't be difficult. It has a large radiator grille of a rather unusual shape. It is a plastic mesh with many small cells, on top of which you can see a large overlay with the manufacturer’s logo adjacent to the headlights. Below it is a trapezoidal air intake, designed in a similar style, and a couple of recesses with LED daylight garlands running lights. The stern also turned out to be quite interesting. I would like to note a small spoiler above rear window, silver protective trim and imitation of large exhaust pipes.

Dimensions

Lifan X 60 is a compact budget five-seater budget crossover. His dimensions are: length 4405 mm, width 1790 mm, height 1690 mm, and wheelbase 2600 mm. Ground clearance not particularly impressive, especially compared to competitors, and is 179 millimeters. This landing position is typical for urban SUVs; it allows you to drive onto medium-sized curbs and maintain a satisfactory ride, even on relatively broken surfaces. The suspension itself has a completely independent layout. The front is a design based on McPherson struts, and the rear is a real multi-link. The chassis is equipped with stabilizers lateral stability, hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers and steel coil springs.

The trunk is quite roomy - 405 liters of usable space with the backrests of the second row of seats raised and loading under the shelf.

Specifications

Under the hood of the new LIFAN X60 there is an in-line naturally aspirated petrol four with a capacity of 1794 cubic centimeters. She has two camshaft, variable valve timing system and multi-point fuel injection. As a result, the engineers managed to squeeze out 128 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 162 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. As a transmission, you can choose a five-speed manual box gears and variator. A manual car will accelerate to the first hundred in 14.5 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 170 kilometers per hour. As for fuel consumption, depending on the type of transmission, it will be 7.6-8.2 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers in the combined driving cycle.

Equipment

LIFAN X60 is offered in four different trim levels. Poor versions are equipped with two front airbags, full power accessories, hydraulic power steering, ABS systems and EBD, radio, as well as electrically adjustable side mirrors. More expensive trim levels boast heated seats, air conditioning, alloy rims and an advanced multimedia center with six speakers.
